I'm wanting to be there, but I have to see how my wife's job search turns out. She got passed over for the Germany job, but she is now in the running for a job in Swaziland, Africa.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

We'll have to look and see. We do know we have a short vacation lined up for Philadelphia in June so we might not be able to make another trip.... if we can, we'd like to attend again.

I'll be there. Unless I'm dead. If that is the case, count me out.

I've decided to give this a most serious consideration. Too tired of reading about all the fantastic fun, gaming, drinking, friendship, drinking, gardening and otherwise colossal C&C gaming and drinking that can go on during a CON.

Never again. I drank waaay too much at Gary Con. I never got drunk, but the total amount consumed was vast compared to my normal ingestion. The thought of beer right now makes me want to cry out in pain.

I wouldn't necessarily call what we do as drinking, so much as killing our livers. ;)

As you know, Rigon, I got to conventions to game.

I can kill my liver at home, with far better alcohol for far less money.

Plus its already looking like I will need a Liver transplant in the next 9 to 10 years due to having Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, so now I have extra reason to be good to my liver, in order to delay transplant surgery for as long as possible.

Damn. When it rains, it pours.

What was the context for that barbarian remark in your signature? I find it pretty funny, but I am also increasingly paranoid about what I screwed up.

My Doctor finally found the biopsy done on me back in October, and I do NOT have the liver disease! The damage seen by the surgeon is damage consistent with someone who has a history of surgeries like I do.

As for the Barbarian thing, in some thread you apparently said Barbarians suck.

So, with just a month to go before CotC, I realized that I pissed around and didn't get a game on the schedule. However, I am willing to run a pick up game at some point either Friday or Saturday. I'll know better when and where when I get out there, so keep your eyeballs here for more info.

Eyeballs on the lookout!
It looks like this year I probably won't make it out until Friday afternoon or evening. I just can't swing the Thursday Cob this year.

Not sure when I'll make it over. I'd like to go Thursday night, but may have to wait until Friday morning.

Excitement builds.

Excellent. Be aware that the venue changed. It is no longer at the Clarion.

I may have mentioned it at one of the game sessions when you said you were going to try to make it this year.

I am here! I am at the Super 8 about 2 minutes down the road, but I find that time estimate suspicious since the program claims I can also walk there in 4 minutes. It looks like, on the map, if I drive, it wants me to go down the road, and do a U turn to come back in the correct direction to get to the Con. So that may be why. I got here after 10 PM, so I couldn't tell in the dark if there was a median keeping me from turning in the proper direction from the hotel. Regardless, I will find out in the morning!
