Will C&C book jackets be in the works?

Post by slimykuotoan »

It'd be a stellar way for fans to customize their books. :)

I'm only aware of their doing sleeves, some of which were really whimpy.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

No, I've never bought them, just a couple of people I play with have bought them, and told me their opinions. The latest version they made, that I was told about, was considerably sturdier, but an earlier version, around the 3rd or 4th printing, was flimsy.

Are your books cold? Maybe you could knit them little sweaters.

I am not too big on the sleeve cases; I found ants just like them more.

I have a set. I don't use the books they protect. I have them to complete the set.

Seems like there might have been some sleeves for Yggsburgh, and other books, at GenCon 2006. My memory is a bit foggy.

Yeah, but he doesn't want sleeves, he wants good old fashioned book covers. Made from covers of other (TLG) products he likes, to cover his core book with.

I had a quick flashback to "Dragon Skins" by Chessex. They had better covers back in the day or at least it was a larger selection. For example, I used a Champions cover of 2 supers duking it out for my Combat & Tactics book. Good times.

I would purchase these if C&C made some. I don't think there's much of a market though anymore.

While I would love to say "yes" the reality is I will likely not get around to it, and forget I was supposed to, and then be reminded and fail again. I'm just not at home long enough and when I am, I have too much other stuff to do...
