Well done, Goblins. You put a stop to Matthew Hopkins (the Gob Finder General); rescued two elders from a burning hospital; and, freed Margaret from being hanged. People Town thinks you are heroes. But don't start playing the Ewok song yet. A difficult choice waits. You only have one cure disease potion. Do you give it to Wort or to Big Ears?

If you should ever meet up again there is much to be done. You could fortify the catacombs and make it your home. People Town has asked you to be their protectors: Seven Samurai style. The knight thugs from the castle are sure to enact some revenge for defeating their cleric so soundly. Or, you could go on the offensive. Goblins are imprisoned and enslaved in the castle. As Mel Gibson once said, "Freedom!" The Goblin resistance could use your help. You met members of the underground railway. Follow the Drinking Gourd? Or, just maybe you'd rather leave this territory altogether!

XP 500 each

Thanks for playing and Happy Halloween =)

I think I would like to see Penny run this game next week, to see how how things progress as it's such an unusual way of doing D&D and I'm hooked on that premise.

Wow! Thanks for saying. It sounds like the consensus was to fortify the village and play Magnificent Samurai.

In case you get ambitious this week feel free to visit the village map. I'll make a handout with a list of townspeople and their professions. Their skills and materials will be available to help you build traps and strengthen weak spots on the perimeter. I'll also have a handout that will outline how long some traps and war machines might take to build.

Meanwhile back at the castle "Generosity... that was my first mistake. I leave these people a little bit extra, and then they hire goblins to make trouble. It shows you, sooner or later, you must answer for every good deed."
