So I picked up a used copy of Lost City of Gaxmoor but the only full city map is a tiny one where you can't make out the numbers for the locations. Did the original have a pull-out map or something? Does anyone know if a better map is available online?
Thanks!

Re: Gaxmoor City Map
The map in the PDF version is very large and easy to read. My dead-tree version is in storage so I don't recall off hand if it had a pull out. I suspect it did =)

Yep, some of those maps are hard to see detail - even if they are excellent.Persimmon wrote: ↑Sat Oct 15, 2022 3:10 pmSo I picked up a used copy of Lost City of Gaxmoor but the only full city map is a tiny one where you can't make out the numbers for the locations. I had this problem with the Aufstrag maps.
So, yeah as Mike says ~ PDF to blow up.
Anyway, I'll ask Steve if it's OK to send you the PDF map.

Yeah, those Aufstrag maps are rough. They would be great if they were just a bit more clear. I've toyed with the idea of filling out the levels and making my own maps, but haven't got around to it yet and my C&C group is nowhere near those levels yet anyhow.

Update:
So, I had some fun looking for the PDF of the map. I had forgotten that they were on my compy that died last year, so I went and ripped out the hard drive so that I could attached it to my USB to IDE+SATA converter.
Found the Gax PDFs and loads of other great stuff I have downloaded through the years. Anyway, I had thought the city map was with the other digital maps. But no, I forgot it's the last page of the book. Adobe doesn't let u extract/edit pages, unless u sign up for their free trial (f that).
So I opened the PDF in Firefox and extracted the last page ~ and haha, Adobe extension saved the file rotated sideways. And the FF Adobe extension doesn't allow rotation. I then opened the file up in Chrome and voila . . I could rotate!
I did send Steve an email, but since I have isolated the map page, I should think he will be OK with me send the map.
If u PM me with your email, I can send the file. I also have a great map of the city from the original Gax book that is pretty cool.
Tadhg.
