Is that group evenly divided male and female? Good for you!

Dang you people make me feel young.

I need to find more people from the 70's, they seem more likely to be good gamers.

Sharron is going to beat you for posting her pictures!

Great commentary though!

Course Harry Joy didn't take any pictures of all the cool terrain that I had on the table just prior to him bringing out his camera! aargh!

His character just about bought the farm from a viscious attack by Dire Bats!

I'm really lucky to have such a great gaming group!

Figure I'd better credit that shirt properly...

It's from a series of shirts designed by Tom Martin, also known as Dr Midnight on a number of role playing forums. I'm not sure who is currently distributing them, but they crop up for sale every now and then. I suspect BK picked his up at a convention. He's had it for a while.

Action pics from C&C! PROOF POSITIVE that there are players out there besides the couple hundred on these message boards. Thanks for the pics and the funny @$$ commentary.

Very cool, good to see a strong gaming group that's not made up of all teenagers. My current group has an age range of 9-64! Great fun watching the kids and grandparent interact in the face of some challenge. Such different methods in dealing with problems. Great conversations, too:

Grandparent age 64 (Dwarven Friar -- which is a cleric/rogue hybrid): Alms for the poor! C'mon lad, would ye contribute to the poor who have no food for their table? A small donation, a paltry tithe, it will be good for your soul.

Kid #1 age 12 (half-elf fighter): I have no soul.

Grandparent: Of course ye have a soul, brother, and it's the caring of your soul that worries me! All that killin' with that mighty sword you lug around. You bear a cross, lad, but you don't have to carry it alone!

Kid #1: (hefting sword) Maybe I can borrow YOUR soul.

Grandparent: ....

Kid #2 age 9 (gnome barbarian): I don't have any money, you should give some to me--I'm poor!

Grandparent: A mighty warrior such as your wee self, ye got no money? I can't believe it! What's in your pockets?

Kid #2: Lint.

Grandparent: ...

Harry!

Thanks, man, for the great pictures! The story was funny.

BTW, the "rapt attention" was to throw him off. I was actually sneaking a pick behind the CK screen but, sadly, I noticed there was nothing there....I think he was casting a spell of indivisibility.

You guys are a ton of fun and it was so great to be playing in a game I didn't have to run and it was nice being around a bunch of adults that still know how to act like kids.

Sadly, that picture reminds me how much I need to lose weight. Either that or I must fatten all of you others up.

So, C&C is a great game......everyone at GenCon was right. You guys definitely have the old school feel w/ the game. Keep up the good work.

We've had younger folks in the past, and Elandris is well below the group average. She's the current kid of the group. Previously, we had a participant aged around 15, and after him a young man of about 21. The former lost interest, and Brutorz wanted to make the game a bit more "adult", mainly meaning he didn't want to have to watch his language. The other fellow, well, he had the taint of World of Warcraft about him and despite our best efforts we couldn't seem to cure him.

Besides Elandris, the rest of us range from 37 - 42. Not sure about Sharron, though. She ain't admitting to nuthin'.

I must say that I appreciate you guys asking about the whole language thing. It was very nice.....not many people are that courteous.

Also appreciate the way everyone treated me like an average Joe. You don't know how hard that is to find.

You know... that's just awesome. Having moved around a bit, you really appreciate a nice sized group that gets along well. Kudos and thanks for sharing!

Much less cluttered then our play area. I have a smaller table so I just roam around everybody else sitting down with my clipboard.
Edit: Makes them nervous when I lean over their shoulder and tell them quietly to make a save or something.

We just moved, so most of my gaming stuff is still in boxes/storage. The official gameroom hasn't been set up yet. We're just using the Dining Room in the interim.
