Course Harry Joy didn't take any pictures of all the cool terrain that I had on the table just prior to him bringing out his camera! aargh!

His character just about bought the farm from a viscious attack by Dire Bats!

It's from a series of shirts designed by Tom Martin, also known as Dr Midnight on a number of role playing forums. I'm not sure who is currently distributing them, but they crop up for sale every now and then. I suspect BK picked his up at a convention. He's had it for a while.

Very cool, good to see a strong gaming group that's not made up of all teenagers. My current group has an age range of 9-64! Great fun watching the kids and grandparent interact in the face of some challenge. Such different methods in dealing with problems. Great conversations, too:

Grandparent age 64 (Dwarven Friar -- which is a cleric/rogue hybrid): Alms for the poor! C'mon lad, would ye contribute to the poor who have no food for their table? A small donation, a paltry tithe, it will be good for your soul.

Kid #1 age 12 (half-elf fighter): I have no soul.

Grandparent: Of course ye have a soul, brother, and it's the caring of your soul that worries me! All that killin' with that mighty sword you lug around. You bear a cross, lad, but you don't have to carry it alone!

Kid #1: (hefting sword) Maybe I can borrow YOUR soul.

Grandparent: ....

Kid #2 age 9 (gnome barbarian): I don't have any money, you should give some to me--I'm poor!

Grandparent: A mighty warrior such as your wee self, ye got no money? I can't believe it! What's in your pockets?

Kid #2: Lint.

Grandparent: ...

Thanks, man, for the great pictures! The story was funny.

BTW, the "rapt attention" was to throw him off. I was actually sneaking a pick behind the CK screen but, sadly, I noticed there was nothing there....I think he was casting a spell of indivisibility.

You guys are a ton of fun and it was so great to be playing in a game I didn't have to run and it was nice being around a bunch of adults that still know how to act like kids.

Sadly, that picture reminds me how much I need to lose weight. Either that or I must fatten all of you others up.

So, C&C is a great game......everyone at GenCon was right. You guys definitely have the old school feel w/ the game. Keep up the good work.

Much less cluttered then our play area. I have a smaller table so I just roam around everybody else sitting down with my clipboard.
Edit: Makes them nervous when I lean over their shoulder and tell them quietly to make a save or something.

We just moved, so most of my gaming stuff is still in boxes/storage. The official gameroom hasn't been set up yet. We're just using the Dining Room in the interim.
