It. Has. Shipped!

Post by jamesmishler »

Woohoo! The first issue of Adventure Games Journal is in the mail to subscribers (and even a couple of folks who ordered late last night).

It is in the hands of the United States Postal Service now.

Sounds good. What about us latecomers (*cough*, me) that ordered today?

It's in the mail, too...

I was actually a little delayed getting to the post office, so I was able to get yours in there, also.

In fact, our fine postal service folks told me I should show up later in the afternoon if I want to bring in big boxes of stuff to ship; they'll have two people in the post office after 3:00. We're a village of all of maybe 1,000 people, so I kind of swamped them... Poor folks who came in behind me saw the stack she was checking in and stamping and gave off that "oh man, it's going to be a while" sigh. Shoulda brought a Snickers, says I...

Great! Thanks, James! Glad I snuck in.

Sounds like they're setting you up for a fall. My post office people would tell me that. Then when I show up at 3:05 the next time, I'd notice the office closed at 3.

I never go to the post office without a book to read. It's better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

Good to hear. I'm looking forward to seeing this in the mail. About the only thing I'm looking forward to in the mail.

It means I am doing the happy dance I have been "waiting" to have.

Yayyyy. Got my package today. I only had a brief chance to look at the AGJ and map and very impressed. High quality production with loads of material that looks very interesting.

The map is simply a work of art ~ and why shouldn't it, as it was done by Peter!!

Well done guys.

Thanks! Please be sure to let me know what you think about each article... that goes for everyone! I need feedback to know more about what you want and don't want in the magazine.

I already know that the Shopping List and Adventure Finder are getting the boot... I'm going to develop an interactive page on the website for those; much more useful, and that gives me a couple more pages in the magazine for more adventure or information...

Will do, James.

And good idea on the interactive page for the Shopping List and Adventure finder (which I did think was an excellent idea and one that the Trolls might want to use in the Crusader).

Got my package today! I hope to have time to dig into it tomorrow. I've only given it a quick glance, but it looks good so far!
