This product sounds fantabulous. Jim has always been a good designer, so I look forward to seeing what has popped out of his head this time. :)

Why is this product and many others of Troll Lords NOT available on Amazon.com?

Cause Amazon is a great way for a small press to go broke fast cause of the steep discounts.

I've also heard of Amazon placing a large order, sitting on it for awhile, returning a lot of the ordered books to the publisher, and then demanding a refund. I don't know if that is an issue for the Trolls, but it was a major problem for a friend of mine who used to publish chess books.

I think it's just a matter of time, just like the FLGSs ~ waiting for distributors, unless the Trolls made a decision not to let Amazon carry their latest offerings. That wouldn't make much sense, as there are many buyers who won't pay full retail price or who may not have any idea that these products could be purchased directly from the publisher.

I believe most other TLG products are carried by Amazon, Buy and BAMM and I've purchased TLG stuff from all of them.

I just got an Amazon update saying "StarSiege now available!" as someone who's bought TLG products, so I'd also say only a matter of time.

Most of TLG's products are available through Amazon. No doubt. However, Towers of Adventure (and this goes for your FLGS too) is not set for a release until December. Those we made for Gencon we sold through during and after Gencon. The item should appearing in this months solicitation at your local retail shops.

My best guess is that it will be out in later November, probably right before Thanksgiving.

That product had a bumpy beginning because it was put together and released for Gencon after its normal august-solicitation date would passed.

Does any of that make sense?

Steve

Hey, Steve:

There were some minor errors in the set released at Gen Con, such as the product named incorrectly on the back cover and numbers on the maps missing on their side lists.

Will there be any corrections made for the "general release" print run?

Thanks!

Matt

Can anyone who has purchased the set recently answer?

Thanks!
