The book comprises a detailed history in which the whole of the world's development is laid out as on a tapestry. This is followed by a pantheon of gods, many of which you will recognize, others will be new, and yet more will be a re-telling of the old. Each diety's holy symbol is presented in crisp, clear art. The gods are followed by the Kingdoms of Erde where a minimum of two pages, and sometimes as much as six pages, is devoted to each country's history, economics, culture, language and heraldry. The next chapter covers the Erde's vibrant terrain wherein almost all types of adventure can be found. Short stories are woven throughout to allow DMs some background for those abandoned lands of rolling hills. All of this is followed by the Players Section and DM Handbook to Erde wherein are given all the particulars of race, language, class, spells, magic items and monsteres.
Erde is a setting, whole and complete. It is Epic in its scope, accomodating both high and low level adventures with ease. Erde's boundaries are only as narrow as the walls of your imagination. It is a World of Epic Adventure.
