"Of all the beer joints, in all the towns, in all the world, you had to come to the Outs Inn . . . .”
Of the many varied watering holes in the walled town of Yggsburgh the Outs Inn is perhaps the most famous. It is a very large, low-walled inn of highest quality. Its customers are usually well-to-do travelers, whether coming to the area by water or land. Most patrons are coach borne, traveling between points eastwards and the city of Dunfalcon. Those regular visitors coming to Yggsburgh on business that are able to afford the rates generally stay at the Outs Inn, for it is clean, very comfortable, has all the amenities and the food is excellent. It’s a sprawling establishment that offers food, drink, merchant services, its own chapel as well as a host of out buildings, wells and gardens.
Within you’ll meet such worthy non-player characters as Old Luffle, Ragley the Devout, Jebel van der Leeks as well as the inn keeper himself Goodman Walter Gunderson and family. Though designed for use with the Castles & Crusades RPG you’ll find the varied and colorful Outs Inn transplants to your game with ease.
Castle Zagyg: The Outs Inn offers all the necessary details for the Inn, its patrons and owners. Incuded within is a map of the Outs Inn with Encounter areas, a list of goods and services offered and their costs, an encounter sheet, as well as notes and rules on exchanging currency and more.
NOTE: The Outs Inn is drawn directly from the already published Hardback book Castle Zagyg Vol. I: Yggsburgh. This pdf is drawn directly from that manuscript and is offered here in pdf format for those who like Inns, or for those who wish to sample Castle Zagyg’s flavor and have not had the opportunity. |
