Absolutely great dungeon anime going currently; The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Covers things like monster evolution, dungeon delving, traps, etc. LOTS of idea fodder!

I simply made my own Rune Master class. I could figure out the book class...but it wasn't really user friendly IMO. The example above is pretty much dealing with intent. Hold, Air, Water runes could be read as "Hold in Air repel Water" as one interpretation or "Hold Air when in Water&...

I would argue that one Sam. While the spell duration is 1 hr/level for charm that only applies if it was effective on the target at the time of its casting. If the target has the alignment protection in effect at the time of initial casting, the charm fails utterly and the spell is toast. If the cha...

I believe it's a nod to popular trope and literature. Most demi-humans tend to be longer lived than humans and therefore had less drive to learn and achieve given they have plenty of time to do so, so there's no rush whereas humans who live only a half dozen decades on average are have less time and...

We used the players options extensively but didn't really use Skills & Powers much. The various class and race books got a good work out as well. Still have my books too. If I wasn't focused on C&C, 2nd ed would be what I'd be using.

Agreed...I've killed the healing for Illusionists as well...the rational for it was weak sauce IMO. Closest they get is the Spell 'Heroic Delusion' which is similar to the Aid spell making them think they are more powerful than they are...and is only good before they get smacked around. Point 1: Originally this was the case in the three little white books, there was only the wizard. The illusionist class came about as a conceptual class based around trickery of the mind and phantasms...few of which were able to cause actual damage though they could trick the victim into doing damag...
