Still Here

Just wanted to update you all that I am still alive. I moved again and my campaign is sputtering along. As for other matters, the divorce is going at a glacial pace and occupies more time than I would like. Still no money for a computer or Internet so my writing is non existent but I am getting a li...

Re: Sadly...

Thanks all.

As far as faith goes, I still have some left. It has changed but still there. So the prayers and thoughts are appreciated.

I'm just trying to get through this and stay strong right now.

Re: Sadly...

Yeah, it's been a few months. Divorce is tough and divorce at 41 is worse. I'm still around but have had less and less time to game or even think about gaming. I have a new job and did find a place but I really want out of the studio apt. I have has a bad string of luck from a robbery to totalling m...

Re: Sadly...

Yeah it is but kids are resilient and I keep in touch with them.

On another note I am looking for an apartment in a different town feeling that some distance from the ex is best.

Re: Sadly...

Thanks guys. I wish I could say I was sad or tore up. While I am about the kids, I'm just not. Maybe I am at that stage where I would rather be happy. Maybe I just reached a point where I am done.

Whatever it is, I am just looking to get myself set up and ready to start again.

Sadly...

Well things in my life finally progressed to a critical point and I am getting a divorce. It just got to the point that we couldn't live together and nothing can be reconciled. Howevever, there are bright spots though and I have a lot support. And I will get to game more. So all is not bad. Funny en...

Well, I have given up on trying to like Aihrde. It's back to the Realms for me.

Not really.

Good memories. Worse recollections.
I think I was using some form of Syko or The Psychotic Sea Otter. I may have to dig through to see if I can remember.

Oh the memories. . .

Discovered this while looking for some obscure Yggsburgh references. It was fun reading through this again. Sadly, I don't remember what name I was using back then but I have fond memories of this place and the stump.

I have a black hardback journal I use for ideas and while the logo is nice I can get ones like I use cheaper with no shipping. They do look slick though.

Re: Liitle Birds: The Game Breaks Down? The Math is off?

C&C suffers the same problem AD&D and post-2000 D&D both have; after a certain level the bonus bloat gets too high and can create certain headaches for a DM. However, C&C is the easiest to fix as it only take a couple pen strokes to get things in line. The three adjustments I have used in the past a...

Re: Expanding Classes (C&C)

I'm torn. I like character options, but when you get too many ... well, that road may lead to madness. :-D Yeah, I'll buy it, but I doubt I will use anything out of it. Sorta like the CKG. My game was running smoothly before the CKG came out and so I never felt the need to use it when it did come o...

Re: Codex Celtaruim and Codex Nordica

Awesomeness. I am really liking this series as much as I did the green books that TSR did back during 2e. I also believe that they compliment each other nicely. The funny thing is that when I first started playing D&D I believed that the game took place in a fantasy Europe and I ran my early campaig...

Re: Codex Celtaruim and Codex Nordica

So I ordered Codex Celtaruim and it arrived today. In short, I love it and am going to be using this. I have already begun a map of my version of the British Isles ( now one landmass) and am working on a Scandinavian area to use for when I order Codex Nordica. So my new setting is going to be Yggsbu...

Re: Crusader's Companion

A couple of quick questions: 1) I have the original so is this an update and revamp of it? 2) Is all the material from the original coming back? I really liked the new races, spells, classes and such that you added. As far as printing goes I would love to see a Lulu version sold at cost like BFRPG d...

Codex Celtaruim and Codex Nordica

Can anyone who has these give me an idea on the new spells, class options and other content in them? Thinking of picking these up but I am not sold just yet.

Re: Are the color books worth replacing my "old" editions?

I loathe the color. I like the errata fixes, so I use the 6th printing at my table, but I am sad when I do so. During play, I prefer the digest size versions of the PHB and M&T. In my dream world, I'd be using digest sized B&W with the 6th printing text. Or maybe a flip book version combining the P...

Re: Back and Forth and Back. . .

I can say I found quite a bit of yankable material from Skyrim. Nice take on Dark Elves? Check. Subterranean mutant elves? Check. Abandoned Dwarven steamworks? Check. And so on and so forth.
