3.5 D&D Montser Conversion to C&C

<t>I was throwing around the idea of tossing in a few of the 3.5v monsters into C&C, but I have some misgivings about doing so, here are some of the reasons why.<br/> <br/> HP progression:<br/> <br/> The Hit Points of some of the 3.5v monsters are quite horrendous when compared to the player cha...

<t>I have a question to go along with this one.<br/> <br/> What about Silenced Elven Chainmail.<br/> <br/> I.E. each individual mithral/mithril chain link coated in a thin layer of leather.<br/> <br/> It could again make the armor a +9 (AC 5 + 4 = AC 9).<br/> <br/> Being that the leather is so thin,...

Gideon, that just sounds EVIL.

Not that I'd do that to my group ,but if you do and I have the chance to bare witness {via mp3 recording or utube video}, I would LOVE to see that!

Post Script:

{Mouth; insert foot}

Perchance "balance" wasn't my best choice of words as a descriptor. In afterthought, "fairness" would have possibly been more to-the-mark by way of the telling. Something I'll mull over for a time, perhaps.

<t>I do notice the point. I've saught to balance things in other ways, and have had the PCs have rather interesting experiences dealing with involved story plots of intrigue and mystery. There is one NPC who is helping them, unbeknownst to them, who if they know exactly the nature of this individual...

<t>Thank you Treebore, that was an immense help. I'm still getting the hang of this CK thing, and I find the SIEGE mechanic wonderful. I just have some trouble getting my head out of other rule-sets. I guess I'll chalk this up to having to "unlearn" what I've learned.<br/> <br/> I have decided, also...

House Rule Idea: Critical Fumbles

<t>I know this is a topic that has been covered time and again on this board, and that the current topic has seen mixed reviews from players and game masters / Castle Keepers alike, and I got to thinking... How could I integrate Critical Fumbles into my game to balance out Critical Hits and I think ...

<t>New to the boards here. Thought I'd give my two-sense/cents. I like the idea of the aiming/round penalty between shots. Though that is still a powerful skill. Perhaps a 12th-leve, a 5-to-3 round delay between shots would be needed to balance out the affectiveness of the hit. I.E. fire once, then ...
