How you could knew what was the correct wording?

Anyway your version makes a lot more sense indeed.

Re: Question about equipment and encumbrance

Your suggestions are valid if skipping a rule could be an option. This way it could be a must because rules are confusing. In my opinion when I pay for something I should find everything and then I should make my choices, considering an Rpg a toolbox. But when I find bad written rules, it is a negat...

Am I wrong or there's a loophole in the encumbrance rules?

Pag. 67 of the new PHB says that "capacity items can carry a number of items equal to their Capacity. Furthermore, a Capacity Item cannot carry any item whose EV is equal to or greater than it's Capacity rating". So a Backpack, with a capacity of 8, can carry up to 8 items whose EVs are 7 or less." ...

About scabbards and quivers

As the note 2 under the equipment table says, "... Large belt pouches equal one scabbard, one quiver..." Scabbards are not included in the equipment section anyway, then we must suppose they are considered included in the weapon costs? Maces and Axes can be hooked to a belt? The note seems to make t...

Re: Question about equipment and encumbrance

The (w) note is present in the equipment section too. For an exemple the backpack, the spell component pouch and so on. Also, ALL of the armors are still (w) marked and the transport equipment for animals too (like saddles). But that's not the only odd thing I noticed. In the previous editions, (w) ...

Question about equipment and encumbrance

Hi all, rules for encumbrance have been simplified a lot in the 6th edition. Still, many items have still the (w) code written in their description line. Why that if it's no more important when an equipment piece is wearable or not? Are perhaps the equipment tables not been updated for some kind of ...

Re: Awaiting a complete 5th Edition?

Keep in mind that the "5th Edition" (really, the 5th printing ) is not an edition of the game. Yes, editing done :) I knew that but I was in a hurry. Anyway, CKG can have soon the full color treatment I suppose, don't know the others. I was about to buy classic monsters but I was in doubt (in these...

Awaiting a complete 5th Printing?

It can have some sense to delay buying classic monsters and the newly-branded of gods and monsters? To await a complete re-editing of existing CKG and monster manuals?

The CKG is next on the row to take the full color tretament? And the Monsters & Treasures book? For this last one I think it could be the right occasion to make some fixes.

Rule Lore: why promoted like an adventure on the Anvil?

I have a lot of expetations for Rune Lore, but, beside having some short adventures in it, it seems to me more a companion than a simple adventure module.

There will be anyway more books like this? For other aspects not touched by the core rulebook for an exemple?

Cross reference the PHB with the CKG, MT, OGM, etc

Clarify prime vs non-prime checks i.e. rogue move silently vs fighter w/ 18 Dex move silently

Prime 12/18 vs Prime +6
Agreed.

New C&C Logo and graphic vest. ANd many other questions!

The logo of Castles & Crusades is changed (in a positive way in my opinion). The double coloured bands are gone and now products seem fully illustrated on the cover. Or is this true only for adventures? Will the new printings of the main rulebooks have still the double coloured bands? I have seen a ...

What the codes stay for in the various adventure modules?

I Can tell "A" stays for "Adventure" and it means something introductiong. "U" can stay per "underdark" so it can imply dungeon-based adventures. But the others?

Re: Fields of Battle revamping?

I think it'd be much easier for TLG and Micro World to come to some kind of arrangement like a redeemable coupon. Absolutely!! I wanted to point out this solution infact. My idea is not to resell new Fields of Battle boxes with miniatures in, but to advertise the game system on miniature makers web...

Fields of Battle revamping?

It is a pity Fields of Battle, a so brilliant miniature wargame, is widely unknown to the public, expecially in these times of miniature wargaming boom. Why not giving the base box in a discounted bundle with some 6mm manifacturer? Take a look at these wonderful fantasy 6mm miniatures for an exemple...

Mystara surprisingly redone! How it is possible???

A free Mystara setting has been realized for the "Dragon Age" RPG. It is a free product so I think I am not doing any sort of damage to the TLG folks. I am amazed this setting has been reworked after... almost 20 years from the last published official product?? Amazing to see new, XXI° century arts ...

CKG is the best RPG book I have bought in years, perhaps on par with some Shadowrun stuff I have bought too.

Am I biased? perhaps :)
