Follow up Question

For those of you who have converted the Hackmaster Monster to C&C did you recalculate the XP or did you just take it from the Hacklopedia?

Southern Mass Players?

I live in Walpole MASS and I am looking to either run a game of C&C or get into one.

Is there anyone near Walpole Mass available?

Thanks

These Forums need a players wanted section

<t>These forums need a players wanted section or a place where people can try to find other gamers. <br/> <br/> My group has not been enlightened enough to grasp C&C and still clings to D20 3.x (which I refuse to call D&D).<br/> <br/> I am looking for players - I live in Walpole MASS (which ...

Thanks Omote!!

I knew it was a tough question to answer - what I hoped for was some cool discussions. I may have gone about it in the wrong way but any discourse is good in my opinion.

Dungeon Question

<t>Before I get to my question - a bit of background.<br/> <br/> I am a dungeon fanatic - I love designing and runnig PC's through dungeons as well as taking my own PC through one (provided it done well). Though I wish I still had it - I once had designed a 300+ room dungeon (about 12 levels if I re...

How do y'all handle the fact that in AD&D Cleric and Druid spells only go up to 7th level and in C&C they go all the way to 9th?

Just curious

Thanks Dude - you are most helpful.

I am a true convert to C&C but I happen to have boxes of AD&D 1st and 2nd Editon - never mind D20 3.x (I refuse to call what WOTC produces Dungeons and Dragons) and Hackmaster.

Thanks again.

Could you clarify:

Rule of Thumb

The Edge modifier is never added when a character is able to add their level/HD to a die roll

AD&D 1st and 2nd Ed Conversions

Has anyone done any work in converting AD&D 1st and 2nd Edition spells, magic items or Monsters into C&C?

If so how did you do it? I don't think it would be to hard - but I am lazy.

Oh and while I am at it - has anyone converted D20 3.X

Thanks

No worries about your PC's being afraid to buy the books - I have everything that was ever produced for Hackmaster and the less the PC's have the better!!!

Most of the books are GM Proprietory information only, anyway

<t>My understanding of the Siege Engine rules is that if one attempts to do anything that is NOT the specific class ability of another class then you get to add your leve to the roll.<br/> <br/> For example: Swiming is not inherent to any class therefore when making a check the PC would roll a D20+A...
