Yes! I saw that, which is sort of what got the idea percolating in my head.Omote wrote:The Aenochians in the new Monsters & Treasure of Aihrde have their own unique racial write-up.

World of Aihrde and Fantasy Grounds
So, I've purchased the latest printings of: Codex of Aihrde Monsters and Treasure of Aihrde Player's guide to Aihrde and I can honestly say I'm in love with these books. Now, M&T is on Fantasy grounds, and I have it, but the Player's Guide, and the Codex are not. Now, I am running an Aihrde camp...

Aihrde Pronunciation guide?
I am really in love with this setting. It really has amazing detail and flavor that goes beyond anything I've ever seen before, and its clear that decades of work has gone into this product. The French, German, Celtic, Scandinavian influences are great. That said: Pronunciation guide? My tongue does...

'Racial' Abilities for Humans?
As I read through the Codex of Aihrde it occurs to me that one could make up a few ability modifications for each of the human divisions, giving a +1 to certain stats, and perhaps a skill to as well, making humans as attractive to play as other races. For example, giving Ethrum and Aathuk a +1 Wisdo...

Re: The Codex of Aihrde is intensely readable.
Yeah, I like to sit back, and read much like I would a favoured novel. Well done Trolls. The Codex is out? Where to buy? Its been out for over a year. The OP is MArch of LAST year. As for where to buy, TLG's online store is a good place to start for a print copy. Actually found a used copy on Ebay,...

Maybe I'm missing it, but the "After Winter's Dark" folio lists the months of the year, but I've not found a listing for the days of the week. I'm
trying to work on a Calendar for the setting so this is a bit important. Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

Combat Movement to restrictive? House rules?
I guess its me, but I never really paid attention to how little people can move RAW in combat. Especially if you're a dwarf... and god forbid if you're encumbered at all. It seems a bit oppressive. Are most people following this, or are they house ruling to allow for the more common full move (30/20...

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I really love C&C but there are some minor things I like about 5E I'm incorporating into my house rules. But, yeah, I like the Turning Undead rules 'As is', as I do MOST of C&C. Sooo easy to run!

Okay, this seems to be evading me, or perhaps I'm looking for something that's not there. Is there a limit on how many times per day a cleric can turn undead, or
is there no limit?
Thanks!

Siege Engine Clarification please
So, I'm a bit unclear as to when a player DOESN'T
add, or does add their level to an ability check.
My interpretation of things are as follows:
1) Add levels if its a class ability
2) Add levels if its a prime ability
3) Add levels if its a saving throw
Is this correct? Thanks for the help.

So, the group of characters in my campaign are an LG dwarven cleric, a half orc fighter, a halfling rogue, and elven wizard. The mix of players is really interesting. My two daughters 15 (the rogue) and 17 (the wizard), and two very good friends I've know for 30+ years playing the cleric and fighter...

Re: I can't use published settings anymore
I use the 'Kingdom of Karameikos' boxed set as the basis for my campaign. Its something I'm pretty familiar with, as Its the 'Known World' from basic D&D. I love the setting, and its history, and I'm pretty faithful to the canon. That said, I do have issues remembering things more than when I wa...

Re: Looking for a big dungeon :)
I'm rather surprised no one has mentioned the "Ruins of Undermountain". LOVE that setting. Lots and lots of source material on the City of Waterdeep, which is above. The 'City of Splendors' is rather easy to get a hold of, as is, Volo's guide to Waterdeep. Add the Ruins of Undermountain, a...

One of the things that I love about C&C is that its so easy to dust off all my old 1E and 2E D&D modules and just get into it. When my daughters both expressed a desire to try D&D, I immediately decided to start off with the classic, "Caves of Chaos". I invited two of my long t...
