Re: Palladium Fantasy Setting for C&C
Not interested in converting classes, just the races (some of which were their own class (RCC). C&C is THE system for me these days. Played many fantasy systems over the last 35 years, including Palladium. No system beats C&C for ease of use and old school feel...so if the setting won't work, the se...

C&C in Southern CA?
Looking for a C&C game in Inland Empire of California. No real experience GMing, but willing to if need be.

Palladium Fantasy Setting for C&C
Has anyone used the Palladium Fantasy world setting for C&C? I was wondering what stats were used for the Wolfen. The Wolfen Empire is a huge reason why this setting appeals to me, but the Palladium game system drives me nuts...and I much prefer my beloved C&C...

Inland Empire, CA--any groups looking for a player?
I am looking for a regular (or even a semi-regular) game in the Inland Empire area of Southern CA. I live in Redlands and am willing to travel for a game. Twice a month is ideal for me. I have a large family, so I have a full schedule, but I can fit in a game... I have been playing on and off since ...

Re: Sneak attack
Are we referring only to the sneak attack obtained at 4th level? The "sneak attack" at levels 1-3 are back attacks only, and the rogue must make a move silent or hide check to make it work. At 4th level, the rogue can expand this use to frontal attacks when the target is aware of the rogue, but is u...

Redlands, CA -- Looking for a Game
My C&C group seems to have fizzled. A great bunch of guys, but life seems to have interfered with the game on various levels. I am looking for a C&C group within a reasonable driving distance from Redlands, CA. Going through C&C withdrawals! Hope to hear from someone soon.

Where has all the action gone...?
I have been away from the forums for a while. But it seems that they are not as active as they were, say, a year ago. Am I correct in saying this? Where have all the posts gone? To Knights of the Crusade?

C&C Play By Post
Does anyone play by post any more? I have always wanted to try it, but I can't seem to find a pbp game. Any ideas? (GOTTA be C&C though...). I want to try PBP so I can get the feel of how to do it and eventually start my own game.

Re: Who uses the Aihrde setting, or think they will use it?
I definitely want to run a game in Aihrde. I love the Codex. The lore it contains is very good...and at times it is beautiful. I am currently working on my own version of Fantasy Earth, but Airhde is my favorite published setting.

Re: Who here likes playing rangers?
I love the C&C Ranger class. It is easily my favorite class to play. I cannot stand what recent versions of D&D have done to the Ranger class...too magic-based. Even 5e (which I like second only to my beloved C&C) has screwed up the Ranger. I see the C&C Ranger as a special-forces-like class for med...

Re: Fantasy Earth?
I am currently working on a campaign idea for a "fantasy earth" that has magical elements to it, though it is predominantly low magic. I am using the premise (from Genesis 6, "angelic" interpretation) that the earth was once ruled by giant beings known as nephilim (and later Rephaim and Anakim) who ...

All great ideas. Thanks! C&C is definitely my system of choice and should be easy to use, especially with the Codex series.

Fantasy Earth?
Has anyone published a fantasy earth setting? I am looking to try a pseudo-medieval earth campaign, with fantasy elements thrown in. It should be easy enough to do myself, but I was wondering if anyone has published such a setting for C&C/D&D/Pathfinder. Also, I would be interested if anyone out the...

Re: What other RPG's would you guys actually like to play?
Although my favorite system is C&C, a close second is D&D 5e...probably because this latest edition has become somewhat similar to C&C. Also, I have played some Dungeon Crawl Classics and it is a ton of fun. Would love to have three regular games going at once: C&C, D&D, and DCC.

Huge C&C fan here and would love to try my hand at playing in a play-by-post or facebook game. Have never played in either format. Any openings out there?

Dead Horse,
I have always been interested in using a "fantasy earth" as a setting, but I have yet to pull the trigger. What period of "history" do you use? Ancient? Medieval?

S&W Monstrosities for C&C
Has anyone used the Monstrosities book for Swords & Wizardry in their C&C game? It is a great book, but I much prefer C&C as a system. It looks as though it would be easy to concert...even on the fly. Any have any experience with this?

Re: How'd you get into Castles & Crusades?
Years ago I grew very tired of the bulkiness of 3.5., especially the bloated monster stat blocks. I tried 4e and had some fun, but it was not the old D&D experienced I always loved. I went back to AD&D 2e, but the inconsistencies of the rules were a bother to me, and I HATE combat rounds that are co...

Artifact Question from Of Gods & Monsters
The Mace of Judgement artifact under Unklar's listing has a power described as "death ray 1/day". I can't find the death ray power described anywhere, nor can I find a spell by the same name in the PHB. Am I just missing it? Where can I find this potentially uber-powerful power explained? Other than...

Re: Want AA + REH
Finarvyn, I could not agree more about REH style stuff for AA! Howard is my favorite pulp adventure writer, easily, and likely would have written some incredible novels had he lived longer. (I truly love his only Conan novel.) Also, Howard had a way of placing a ton of description and mood in only a...
