Re: It's HERE!

Taking a look at the current version of the 5E Familiars book from TLG actually has be a little sad. First and foremost, I do hope that this book succeeds for the Trolls. Having Jason Vey on the case will make it a worthy addition to the 5E rules. The cover is gorgeous, and the Barbarian preview th...

I just bought this book a year ago! I'm going to pass on this kickstarter. If it does become full-color I might pledge but not really interested otherwise.

As stated everything in my collection can be quick converted to C&C. Notable entry would be Tome of Adventure Design by Matt Finch. It's a big book of tables that inspire a lot of ideas.

Castles & Crusades Black Box

Recent Arrivals from the Trolls. The Castles & Crusades Black Box and The Storyteller's Thesaurus! The Black Box is really awesome. Nice expansion of the game and I hope we get the Adventurers Backpack Hardcover that collects and expands all this information. I took a few snapshots of the contents o...

For the most part you are always picking and choosing what fits the campaign. However some monster books are more inspirational then others. Anyone use any of the D20 Monster books from numerous publishers?

Best Non-C&C Monster Book for C&C?

Castle & Crusades is awesome for converting on the fly. What is your favorite non C&C monster book that you use for conversion? Anything is open. I know pre-3e stuff is easier but found 3.X stuff to relatively easy to eyeball something out.

Re: Spontaneous Cures

I allow spontaneous casting as per the Pathfinder Rules in any D&D type game. A lot of players don't like getting stuck being the healing and forcing them to prep all their spells as heals is kinda lame. So I base the spontaneous heals off the PF SRD. Spontaneous Casting A good cleric (or a neutral ...

Mythic Adventures from Pathfinder has some interesting concepts for boss encounters. They have some templates that let you get two actions in a turn.

Re: Ultimate Campaign for Castle & Crusades

Surprising Ultimate Campaign comes off as very system neutral since it has many sub-systems for off the screen activities. The only crunch in the book is Story Feats. A lot of the systems like investment, exploration, honor system, etc are not too tied into PF rules at all. In the Downtime system yo...

Ultimate Campaign for Castle & Crusades

Was wondering if anyone had messed around with the down time system from Ultimate Campaign for use with Castles & Crusades? It's look like for the most part you can swap out the skill checks for Attribute Check for roughly the same results. Anybody have any experience with it?
