I would say it is "rules-medium". Not as rules light as C&C, far less rules heavy than 3rd edition D&D. It seems to promote a somewhat cinematic style.

Just a question: why the OSR*C? Is it somehow verboten to discuss this? Considering that any compatible products are usable with C&C as is any first edition stuff, it would seem to me it would not be a bad thing...

ok, thanks. It would be nice if someone (even if its just a fan-based opinion and not official) would post a detailed list of which abilities are worth XP and which ones are not, but I guess common sense works too...although according to my wife I don't have much of that..
