thx for the OO suggestion. Just got it installed, looks good. FYI, one should make sure one's antivirus software is off before installing or an error will occur.

<t>You might try out a spell point system instead of memorization. Just have each spell cost mana equal to it's level + 1, and take each spell you could memorize under the old system and turn it into mana points that you can freely sling about on any of the spells you know. <br/> <br/> At high level...

<t>Thanks Serl, I did google for stuff, but I distrust most "free" stuff on the web. I hate downloading stuff only to find out it installs something extra and unwanted or finding out that it just kinda blows. I just figured lots of folks here use some time of PDF prog and folks would have good sugge...

Good PDF software??

Hey, anybody have some suggestions for a good PDF creation program?? I've been thinking of putting some of my ideas into an easily reviewable form.

Thanks, Arten

Some New Armors

<t>I've been interested in having a wider variety of armor for use as treasure for my players; here's what I've come up with so far:<br/> <br/> New Armors for C&C<br/> <br/> Name Cost AC Wt As Special<br/> <br/> ---------------------------------------------------------------<br/> <br/> Silk 450g...

<t>I know this sounds wierd, but I had a "methods and materials of literary crit" class some time ago and the prof was teaching it as a philosophy of language class. We were going through some of the works of Frued, Sousere (sp?), Derrida, Foucalt (?), and a guy named Slavou Zizek (sp?). <br/> <br/>...

<t>I'm in Corvallis Oregon, and there are a couple of stores here that stock frpgs. Matt's Cavalcade of Comics has the best selection, but it's mainly 3.x. I tried ordering through him (he hadn't heard of C&C) twice but never got any response. Not surprising, the store is mainly comics and anime...

<t>Dang. Oh, well. That will teach me to not grab something as soon as I see it. Good on Serl if that's what he plans to do, otherwise I'll be eagerly awaiting his site coming back up. If I saw a PDF for sale that had tons of weapons with pics (and armor) I think I might buy it; it's not easy to fin...

weapon pictures???

<t>I remember seeing a document someone made with all (or most?) of the C&C weapons that had pictures or art for each, now I can't find it. Some of the weapons in the PHB seem kinda esoteric, or at least it would be cool to have pics for my players so when one asks, "WTF is a flanchet???"<br/> <...

Thanks,

Ya, I'm not sure if I'm gonna use it yet, but it would be cool to have it so weapons with essentially the same damage and stuff could be a little more different.

I'll check DF, thanks.

<t>Thanks Grimm, THAT's where I saw that system, oh so long ago. Looking for Piece-meal armor system

<t>Anyone using one? I've made one up similar to the one in ElderScrolls: Morrowind, but AC is becoming much higher and I'm trying to think of ways to let Bth keep up with it as levels go up. A full set of leather is about +6 AC.<br/> <br/> The system also uses the 3.0 armor types (light, mdm, hvy) ...
