How long does it take to heal attribute loss? Is it like 3e- one point per day? Clarify it for me, as I couldn't find it in either the PHB or M&T.

That reminds me- I have 5 lb. block of onyx (an orangy-red colour, probably sardonyx or citrine quartz variety) I got in Arizona a few years back. I keep thinking to get it carved, but it's such a nice looking-stone.

In the old BECMI rules, you didn't get a free attack insomuch as on the combat round that an opponent ran you're opponent simply couldn't attack in return and presented a lower AC because of a turned back. The attack wasn't free; it was just your regular attack on your turn.
