Hi everyone. Any good infiltration adventure module edited by TLG? Some kind of "go kill the orc chieftain inside his fortress".
Besides, some good old low level megadungeon edited by TLG?
Thx.

On Inzae
The Inzae setting really picked my curiosity. ¿What kind of world is it? ¿Is it a gritty world, with a dark sun feeling on it? ¿Which sourcebook do you recommend for me to learn about it? Thanks.

Re: Rappan Athuk
Good, I got the Swords & Wizardry. Maybe I should train them a bit with some adventures. Thanks guys! If you have that version, then you should also have the material that starts them in the areas outside of RA, so you have the material for starting them at 1st level. It comes with a big wilder...

Searching for megadungeons I bumped into that one, and I have a few questions:
1) ¿Is it any good?
2) ¿Compatibility with C&C?
3) I intend to put a lvl 1 party of 4 through it, but I'm afraid they will get their asses kicked. ¿Any suggestion?

Re: Addicted to Megadungeons
The A-series. And it's expensive, last I knew, but I liked Castle Zagyg: The Upper Works. For others, like regular modules and not "megadungeons" then there are several TLG modules I like. The first one that springs to mind is Heart of Glass. A Series: I read A0 and A1, not great dungeons...

On the other hand, I think fighter 1/2 cleric would be a very neat combo, am I wrong?

Re: Class and a Half
I think barbarian/half-fighter would work pretty well. There are some synergies that make it pretty nice. serl touched on Intimidate. Intimidate with a high AC from good armor makes the barbarian very "tanky" (pardon the MMO terminology!), especially since you won't lose hit points for th...

Re: Class and a Half
Intimidate is a big deal to me. That barbarian power is pretty badass. True. Plus the Monk is wicked bad ass! I had a 12th or 13th level Monk almost single handedly take out a 9th level party of 7 characters. Brutal. I think Primeval Instinct provides the barb with a distinct conan-like flavor, but...

Re: Class and a Half
Yes, I think that weapon specialization + to hit bonus of the fighter is worth the first level, but then it starts to depreciate. That is my main concern since the XP cost raises almost exponentially. On the other hand, you say Barbarian class is inferior to fighter class? That changes my whole pers...

Mr. Young, great work with Codex Celtarum and the other codices too. Loved the Codex Germania above all, I have to say. I Hope you keep on your excellent work, and I wish to see some day a codex on egyptian, mesopotamian and levantine cultures too! My regards.

I'm not a big fan of expanding game rules but, as this issue adresses that theme, what's your oponion on this racial class I just homebrewed? HALF-ORC RACIAL CLASS No one si stronger than the half-orc. Prove me wrong or bow your head before his might. The only race in the basic set awarded with a +1...

Re: Fantastic Heroes & Witchery
I agree... The cleric and druid spells are quite "wizardry", I guess that's the backlash for unifying spell casting systems... Original sin from D&D!

So that's how the shadow of powerplaying starts to grow... By little bits of reasonable rule bending!!! Half Orc Barbarians bonus
Half Orcs really are my cup of tea. No half orc as a playable race is a deal breaker for me and C&C got it right. Love the way C&C did the barbarian too, not just one-dimensional berserker but a Conan style übermensch with some ranger-like abilities. When it comes to combine both, I give the...

Re: Castles & Crusades What's Next
1) Have you ever thought about a supplement containing adventures for one player, with no GM? Some kind of Choose your own adventure, with C&C tropes. Roll your own character and start right out of the box! 2) It would be great to see some Codex for Egyptian, Mesopotamic or Levantine civilizatio...
