I think i have found my new niche within the gaming industry, and I'm proof not all of us youngins' are made of the wrong stuff.

We use battlemats, but thats more or less just graph paper with a sketch of the area. One day we'll graduate to a large dry-erase board.

As a recent convert from DnD (hallelujia!), I'm trying to see if the use of minis extends beyond WotC's grasp. My groups never used them, but at times with the clunky ruleset of the game we wish we had. So it boils down to this, are minis that important to the game? I really hope not.

Is college a good forum for gaming? I hope i will be able to play more regularly when I'm in college, and was wondering if my assumption is true. Sorry for all of the newbish questions.
