Speaking of that bible, I'm guessing the bands of elves and dwarves mentioned in Mouths of Madness are based on the guardians that taxed PC parties. I was happy to see them, as well as some of the other campaign all-stars you've mentioned.

As an impatient fan, I'd happily grab up the modules as they were completed, rather than waiting for boxed sets that could be many more months in the making.

I didn't realize I was ordering one of the numbered & autographed copies, so it was a nice surprise when it turned up that way.

BTW, don't take my previous post about the Caves of Chaos similarities as a bad thing. I think this is an excellent adventure.

It appears that he was on camera when the attack occured. He came up over a ray buried in the sand, and it threw its tail up in self defense and got him in the chest. I was thinking he might have drowned as the result of the attack, but I read that he probably died instantly.

I'd prefer the boxed set. In my opinion, the smaller booklets keep things more manageable in play.
