I don't think I see how an extra create water spell will ruin a game, or a light spell, or what have you.

I don't remember anyone suggesting it back in the day, but it was probably just picked up from the SRD.

I suppose at some point, if you have enough prestige classes and add-on hoohahs, you end up with every character being a separate class, in which case you might as well play a purely skill-based system.

There's several mentions of vampire spawn in the vampire description, but no description of the spawn? Half the hit dice, no energy drain, same AC? Just wondering.

When I got mine, it didn't work. For some reason RPGNow had the file named without an extension of .zip. So, if you download it and it doesn't work, try renaming the file to end in .zip and you should have no problem.

I don't see anything in the book... what do you all do? I usually roll d6 for misses to figure out where the missile goes, but I'd be curiious if there's a better non-d20 idea.
