<t>Thinking of canceling most of the Class Abilities. Definitely want to keep Decipher Script. <t>I agree with you 100%. Having a "primary" spellcasting class definitely fixes the spell progression. I was just trying to make sure they didn't have very many spells.<br/> <br/> I'll think a little more on the class abilities. I see what you're saying. I was just trying to leave it up to the play...

Red Mage....Revision #2
<t>Trying to create a Red Mage because I love the class in the original Final Fantasy. Help in tweaking and developing would be much appreciated. It seems overpowered at the moment, but it's difficult to do justice to such a jack of all trades.<br/> <br/> Revision #2<br/> <br/> First one was still a...

<t>Looking good <br/> A few questions that I don't understand..<br/> <br/> 1- So..the elemental manifestations..the "bonus" is 1+cha mod. How does that translate into the fly speed? Also..won't most PC's have a bonus of 2-4? If that is the case, then you might want to raise the fire damage up from a...

<t>This definitely has great potential. I think lowering the usage of the spirits per day to 1+cha mod is too much..maybe 1+1/2 lvl+cha mod? <br/> <br/> Also..with the restructuring..maybe just base the spell-like abilities off of a mage's progression and stretching it out over some levels. If you'r...

<t>Jay, no offense was taken. I was opening all this up for discussion for the very reasons of finding peoples ideas on the subject (and a little bit of constructive criticism).<br/> <br/> Regarding the eyes. Take a look at most of Rich's comics. Almost all of the characters have eyes like you say t...

<t>I'm with y'all on the storyteller games..no larping for this guy. That's just..too much.<br/> <br/> I'm sad to hear all these people hating steampunk. <t>I forgot to say something about your instance of the actors. Most actors completely give up the personal rights to say where and how their image is used. I'm sure it's different in every case, and I have no idea about big budget actors, but normally with their cut of the movie's/play's profits an...

<t>Wow..lol..didn't intend this to be a big debate. Ultimately, though, in this instance, isn't it all a moot point since Rich has already stated on his website that he's fine with personal avatars that are NOT direct derivatives of his own characters?<br/> <br/> And yes, John, Niddle has come a lon...

Melee Firing
What are the normal rules on firing a ranged weapon when in melee range of an opponent? I think I'm asking the same question as serleran.
Also, you could raise that to a d8 HD since the concept you are going for is closer to a ranger than a rogue/assassin, IMO.

Higher Level HP Gap
<t>Don't know what has been said on this, but has anyone run a higher level game and realized that the multiclassed characters (who at some points could be six or so hit dice behind in extreme cases) are seriously gimped in HP compared to the other players? I like to keep everyone *reasonably* balan...
