Re: A question...

Looks like Paizo and WOTC are going to be seeing who can up the ante more while exploiting more groups for marketing purposes. And again I find myself being brought closer to C&C and Midwest game design. My only advice for the trolls is to keep C&C fun, neutral and based in the hobby's roots.

And lots more modules, especially in the "compact, can run in one or two shots" kind of format. :) Definitely. The last thing I need these days is another megadungeon. Yeah - we definitely don't need any more of those. This is why I like A0 so much - it is quick and easy, with enough deta...

Re: A question...

As someone trained scientifically and employed in marketing, I can say, this kind of thing has everything to do with marketing and nothing to do with science. Exactly. As I stated earlier in thread. It will be interesting to see how it plays out. My S/O is a top PR Professioal. I passed this by her...

Session 4: Be Careful Who You Trust

With the party recovered they decided that it was time to go check out Baleon Nacht. They had noticed that the town had changed some with new troops moving in and at least three new businesses opening up. Governor Hidel had left to confer with two other states about the independance movement. After ...

Ok so, I'm not a scientists as I tend to stay on the Spiritual/Philosophical side of things so I can't add anything meaningful to the conversation. What I will add is that some nails were hit on the head above me. First, like pink stuff, the LGBT bandwagon is the current fad of the day. There's mone...

A core rules type program that would handle campaign development and the ability to run the game from your own lap-top or computer. This would also include add-ons for things like Haunted Highlands, Aihrde and new books. There would be mapping software, NPC and PC creation, encounter builders and a ...

Re: Suck Factor 11 Has Been Found

I made my doc appointments today and have been resting though I do feel another possible attack coming on. This will be easier as I know what I am facing. I did resign my manager position and will be officially quitting my job tomorrow. My plan is to go back to the farm for now and will be deciding ...

Re: Expanded Treasure Tables

M&T of Aihrde has an alphabetical listing of treasure but no tables. From what I have read in it you are better off not having some of the stuff from the book show up randomly.

Re: Suck Factor 11 Has Been Found

Thanks all. I am resting well today but still am in some pain. This is possibly after effects of the stress test which had to be done chemically. I have let a couple people at my job know my intent to resign my position and was told that if I needed to quit I could come back when things were better....

Suck Factor 11 Has Been Found

Yesterday afternoon I went to the ER with chest pains, shortness of breath and disorientation. After spending a few hours being poked and prodded I was transferred to another hospital for observation and tests. After a few rounds of blood tests, a stress test and other things it was determined that ...

Well, as far as geek-offs go I just discovered Torchwood on Netflix. See you all in a few days. . . 8-) Enjoy it! My wife got me into that and Dr. Who (with Christopher Eccleston) when we first started dating. Creepy but fun. I really like the new Dr. Who series and look forward to watching more. T...

Moreover, I was stating it as a fact of categorization of my group. We are all heterosexual and married, in long-lasting relationships. We are all white guys. We are all middle class or upper-middle class. We all have at least an associates degree level of education. This is what I was trying to co...

Josh & Gerry, In the end, the danger is in saying "I have no problem with other points of view, but a game or something written needs to conform to my point of view." I've mentioned my issues with female gender representations in art in C&C - which in no way has stopped me from be...

Here's the thing for me; I game to get away from the crap in life. It's a good way to unwind and escape from the constant changing mess that this world has got itself into. I really don't care what other people do. I am of the mindset that even if I disagree with you that you still deserve respect, and dare I say, love no matter what. However, if I was of a different orientation I think I would actually find it insulting to have seen that line as it is almost exploitat...

Nuked my hometown with the Tsar Bomba (100 Mt). Not only did I kill more people than live there I also got the town I live in now. Great little toy! All it needs is sound effects and blast animations for maximum fun.

On what happened To Unklar After His Banishment (My Aihrde)

The following is from the Revelations of Erasel , a set of prophesies penned a few years after the end of the Winter's Dark. Again the servant revealed to me the heavenly realms and the throne of Corthian. Before him was the horned-one, the prince of darkness known as Unklar. He was missing a horn a...

We could look into that. I am still deciding on what I want as far as hardware goes. The big thing is that since this an experiment I don't want to put too much cash forward but do want a workable machine. I don't need anything top of the line but I do want enough power to do something with.

Re: The Raven's Loft Game (Aihrde)

Session 1 of the game was more about character creation, explaining the rules and deciding on the world. We did a small scouting mission to get a few of the concepts down. Everyone who played was excited and seemed to like the rules. Though there were some 3.5/Pathfinder players who were confused by...

Re: Firefox question

It's looking like once I get some tweaks on Chrome I am going to be switching over. Outside of a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox I don't think I can get anywhere. None of the fixes work at all. I even turned off my adblocker and tweaked a couple settings and still nothing.
