Well, shoot. I bought new copies of 1e just to replace them without using them. Thanks for the reply, though. Looking forward to revisiting the game.
EDIT: Correction -- 2nd edition, not 1st. Still, I assume too many changes for my resources to be useful.

Changes Since 1st Printing?
After a long hiatus, I'm returning to the game. I currently have 1st Printing rulebooks, and I took note of the changes on the Wikipedia page. My question: If I wish to update my ruleset without repurchasing all the books, is there a supplement that provides only the changed content?

Open Request: Katamari Costume Pic?
A while back, someone posted a picture of a father and baby dressed in Katamari Damaci costumes for a contest. For the life of me, I can't find the original thread. If anyone can lead me once again to the pic, could you please?

Withheld Actions
So I'm CKing my first session and a couple of players use withheld actions during combat. Being a 3.5 veteran, I allow it. Then I realize that I haven't seen anything in the PHB about withholding. Did I miss it somewhere, or is it not allowed in the official rules?

<t>I disagree on 3e being close to 4e. For me, 3e was a reduction of needlessly separate game mechanics to an elegant d20 system of skill checks. Concepts that originated in 1e, like BAB, Saving Throws, a Vancian magic system, etc. remained. I could have done without Feats. 4e, with its Powers and P...

<t>I wasn't really looking for something that tells a character what his class skills are. I was looking for a cheat sheet that tells the DM when a character is making a non-class skill check. <br/> <br/> Although, I've realized since my initial post that it's a short enough list to type out manuall...

Invisibility
<t>The spell description for Invisibility states that the effect lasts until the recipient attacks. What if he never makes an attack? How long does it take to wear off? Waking Up
When PCs camp for the night, and a single PC is on guard duty and spots a threat or is attacked, how long does it take (in rounds) to wake up the others? What if they are ambushed and surprised?

<t>I know I'm joining the convo late, but here are my two cents:<br/> <br/> Basically, I see increasing hp as a ticket to cooler encounters. A dragon's claw might do more damage than an orc's mace, but a more experienced character is better able to avoid a direct hit. Thus, characters of all experie...

If an ooze is constricting a character, and another character strikes the ooze, do both the ooze and the first character take damage?
