It's that whole Troll-Time Continuum thing. Remember: serleran on Dragonsfoot wrote: Hmm. Let's figure this out, and see how it applies: Trolls regenerate 3 hit points per turn. One turn = 1 minute. Normal people regenerate one hit point per day. One day has 1440 minutes. A troll regenerates 480 hit...

No, you're remembering it right, mostly... its a +1 bonus with any thrown or projectile, excluding crossbows and bows. The C&C halfling doesn't have the ability. Why? Ask the Trolls.

Just cause I'm curious: did you make use of that gnome pre-gen I wrote up over at DF, or did you find him generally useless? I'd like to know so I can refine my abilities is all. Thanks.

<t>I would if I were CK, based on the campaign setting and specific racial reasons. Then again, I typically have variants of the forbidden classes, available to NPCs only. For example, in my games, dwarves cannot be wizards, but they can be runecallers which works similar to a wizard in many ways, b...

I'm not going, but I vote: at the Ram, and the dungeon crawl. They require the least "work," in a way, and are pretty straightforward. No need to spend hours in towns, either.

<t>You can do what you want with the monster saves. You can say: "Poison: The bite of a thri-kreen is poisonous, but because it is constant, the delibitating effect is reduced. Therefore, the difficulty to resist such an attack is considered X, instead of its normal HD." There is no "right" way to d...

<t>Umm, I don't knpow why the "create spawn" rules were cut, but its not like they're needed, either. If someone becomes a vampire from being attacked by one, they become a NPC, at which point it doesn't matter to the player what the "rules" are, other than, they're not playing that character anymor...

<t>In general, settings don't require any "conversion." Its the fluff-disguised-as-mechanics that needs the conversion, like "special" classes that "don't exist" anywhere else, or the introduction of new monsters, spells, and other whatnots like extraneous restrictions. Would not be hard to use Blac...
