Re: Re:

The Klemperer recording of Beethoven 9. Just plugged in the Solti/Chicago Symphony version of that, myself. Is it the older Solti recording or the one he did in the late 80s with Jessye Norman? Anymore, my preferences for that one are: 1. Klemperer/Philharmonia 2/3. Furtwangler/Bayreuth 3/2. Toscan...

Re: Attribute Advancement.

I'm more of a fan of having the party quest for one of the manuals of attribute improvement. If that's what they're after, and if everybody in the party wants one, they're going to be doing some serious questing. It gives me as a CK lots of options for new adventures etc.

I think I only lost a relative handful of posts. I'm not worried about it. It's not like it's a contest to me.

As to the appearance, I actually kinda like it. I was ready for something different.

<t>I think that if you're going to adopt the 3.x modifiers, particularly for combat situations, you need to scale the monsters up. I've found HP values in C&C to be generally lower than what they are in 3.x, so the way the current system is set up is quite nicely balanced.<br/> <br/> +1 to what ...

While they provide lots of good extras to go with the book in terms of the history, I'd want to bone up on it some more before I ran a game of it. The 2d12 mechanic is definitely intere...

Isn't this the basic mechanic in GURPS, or was it 3d6? I only played it a couple of times, and never got far enough into it to remember much. Oh yeah...and I'm too damn lazy to run down the basement and dig out the game book.

I have no problem with the rogue reading the text, if able. Casting the spell, however, is another matter.

For me, this is more a way to figure out what a scroll is without having the wizard/illusionist read it and inadvertently cast the spell.

I've never been a PS fan. I preferred the graphics on the old GameCube to what I played on PS2. Were I interested in BluRay, I might get the PS3. Seeing as how I'm not interested in that, and that I love the graphics on the 360, I'm going with Xbox. No questions.
