The author felt that the domestication of fire would be the telling point.<br/> <br/> Humans are by far the least hairy of all the hominoids. Even a hairy person i...

<t>Thanks, Jim; interestingly enough, I was able to find a copy just a couple of weeks ago from another distributor, so it all ends well. You can witness my joyous frothing at the end of the Issue #10 thread. I blame the painkillers.<br/> <br/> When my original sub expired I looked into resubbing, b...

Who needs stats? You encounter it, you die. It's a bacon TPK.

What we need now, though, Serl, is a full-length chef video, Delia-style, so that we may all see the creation of this terror.

<t>Well yes, and the spacetime warps that result can change over time as the source of gravity increases or decreases in mass, amongst other things. These changes propagate from the source at the speed of light, hence "gravity waves".<br/> <br/> There are some pretty good illustrations of them <br/>...

Yes, specifically, one of my lessons was "While it's fun to pull your t-shrt over your knees and pretend to be an owl like they depict in the Muppet Show, it hurts more when you fall over than they depict in the Muppet Show, and your nose bleeds a lot more".

<t>I have to agree with Serl, there. Too many spells can lead to homogeneity, but a selcet number of "basic" spells and the incentive to research your own new ones makes for a unique campaign, an extra level of interest and, I find, happier wizard players.<br/> <br/> I give 'em XPs for successfully ...

40K's another one, although I'm not fond of the term "science-fantasy". Either it's scientific or it's fantasy, and just becuase you might have ray-guns and spaceships doesn't make it scientific.

Perhaps techno-fantasy would be a better term.

I think the trolls were experimenting with different colours for different books, just like the title script was red for the PHB and green for M&T in the older cover styles.

In the end they went for one colour.
