<t>I was once dragged into playing in an evil campaign... and i have to say, i wasn't exactly Dr Evil. Hell, i wasn't even Mr Evil.<br/> <br/> Though to be fair the DM and the other Players seemed to assume that being evil meant doing Everything in an evil way... which is garbage. You can pay your t...

<t>I'm not sure i would even require a Check at all.... i mean depending on why the Ogre is after the kid, it wouldn't be so unusual for him to turn his attention to the Bard who is yelling and throwing stuff. Unless the Ogre has a very specific reason to focus on the kid i would say that this is a ...

<t>I've thought this over, and i've decided that the spell can't use tactile illusion to Convince the target that it's real. But once the target fails their check it's as real as anything else to them.... so an illusion of an arrow striking them wouldn't work as well as an illusion of an archer who ...

<t>Ok, say that i manage to create a Ghost with my silent image and the target believes it. How would you base the Ghost's attack rating on? Personally i think it would be using the caster's attack rating. Because the caster only has so much knowledge of how to attack someone, so they can't control ...

Silent Image Spell
The description say that it can't create tactile illusions... but then goes on to say that if a creature believes it they can suffer damage from the illusion.
How does one suffer damage from an illusion if the illusion can't trick them into feeling like they have been damaged?

<t>The author of this article seems to have trouble with suspension of disbelief. <t>At first i was kind of blown away that it was a flat d20 roll. But after some thought i actually really liked the idea. I mean the SR has to do with a creature's ability to shrug off magic, not the caster's ability to hit them with it, so a caster can't really learn to get better at beating an SR...

<t>I'm not particularly interested in "Easy Recharge". I'm really just interested in the idea that as long as a Wand or Staff (still thinking over it is should be both) still has some charges (aka, energy) in it. You can channel your own energy directly into (An equal or greater spell level) it to c...
