Does anybody know why there are no Demons&Devils in the monster manual? In which book can I find such goodies like Evistro, Baalor, Legion Devil & Co? thanks for your help.
<t>Ok. Now I understand the turning rules. A bit tricky and surprising because I was rather your (first) opinion that you can again turn and turn, like a duracell cleric. <br/> <br/> Thank you all for clarifying.<br/> <br/> For me its important to "understand" the rules. There should be not many rul...

The SIEGE engine is supposed to open things up so you can try anything, not tie you down because of rules mechanics. Well 2 differing opinions. So can he continue to turn the remaining 4 zombies? yes or no? (I guess yes, its logical, but unfortunately no word in the rule for this)
When a cleric turns undead (eg. a group of 6 zombies which are approaching) succeds in the turning and rolls a 2 on his d12. Can he attempt to turn the rest of the remaining zombies (4) the next turn? Thanks for your help.

I'd say Dex is out b/c it's not like he's throwing it at the ogre, or not as an attack, at least. he could throw the mug anywhere and distract the ogre. I don't think any of your ideas are wrong, however. But i'd say the f...
<t>I would like to know if this is possible within the SIEGE engine:<br/> <br/> Player A (CHA 16 is primary, DEX14 is secondary, bard level 2) tries to distract an oger (HD4, save P) with loud shouts and a thrown beer mug away from the child which hides under a table.<br/> <br/> As I see the CK has ...
Will the Monster & Treasure book 3rd printing (and PHB 4th printing) be available at amazon.co.uk? I am in Europe so this would be a good possibility to buy the book without paying half a dragons treasure hoard for shipment.
Having extra rules for them is much too complicated for us. If I want to run more complicated games with hitlocations and helmets I run Runequest or Gurps. C&C should remain simple IMO, so helmets are integrated in the AC in my games. They are rather fluff.

I think the barbarian is not really necessary. I would rather play a fighter with a certain cultural background. (similar to the bard and knight which I also dont they are good as interesting character classes)
There is nothing principally wrong with my rule ideas? No violaton of any essential rule in c&c? (except the general resistance and hesitation in mini usage )
Jynx wrote: Your rules sound simple which is key to keepign C&C rules lite. I like them! Personally, I use minis all the time but haven't bothered ruling them so much as what you propose. After reading your post, I think it would be nice to have some simple rules layed out so I'm going to borro...
<t>So, I am new to C&C and I am just reading the rules. I never played it and thus I would like to ask the fans here what they think about my ideas for some simple miniature based combat rules which I would like to introduce in C&C.<br/> <br/> Our group are big miniature fans and we want def...
<t>I now have a better impression of the game. With the no-minions, no-feats and no-multiclassing I can live easily. Having them not or making them up by myself is no big loss.<br/> <br/> But unfortunately c&c has no miniature-battle part. Just moving minis around as some do is IMO not really en...
<t>I just detected c&c, like its simplicity and would like to ask following questions:<br/> <br/> -is the use of minis and battlemaps supported? I could not find any rules (not even simple ones) for this in the book.<br/> <br/> -has it a game world? If yes, is there a geographical map out there?...
