Quote: I have issues with the bastard sword in C&C as well. I think the 3.5 method is sort of overkill and it was written up basically to provide a human-based exotic weapon. In C&C, I'm going to use the 1e rule that has the bastard sword doing 1d8 when wielded one-handed and 2d4 when wield...

Quote: Why o why does the club still do 1d6+1 damage!!! GAH!!! In this point I agree with you. But in my case, it is not only apply for the club, but a large part of the weapon in C&C. For instance, the bastard sword. It's not that it deals 1d10 in finding to much, but the fact that, by the boo...

<t>I just want to continue my deliberation about this topic, but in using other weapons as examples. For instance, if you look sword scimitar, rapier, short, or staff, they all doing 1d6 damage, but the club, whose free, does 1d6+1, have a range attack and have lesser EV than other mentioned above. ...

Magic armor second question

Quote: This applies to any item with only an enhancement bonus, including all non-special weapons and non-special armor / shields. 2) Pick something. I don't recall a formula being used for it. Lion's shield should have its effective caster level in the description; if it does not, then it must be ...

<t>I have a problem (again ) with the magic armor. Well at page 104 of the third printing, it is writing:<br/> <br/> "The caster level of a magic shield or magic armor with a special ability is given in the item description. For an item with only an enhancement bonus, the caster level is three times...

Ok!

Its just a misinterpretation I guess, because the way a understand this rule, the weapon has to have reach over 10 feet, and the way I tough, this type of weapon has only ten feet of reach!

useless weapon

<t>Hi, <br/> <br/> I just want to know how you negotiate with some weapons that appear to be useless? Ill explain. When you look, for example the Glaive, its make 1d8, the same strength than a short sword, except that youve to use it with to hand. I know that in D&D they have the bonus to be abl...

<t>I just have a question about the process. Well, i do not undertand the penality when you've had lost hit points. In the expample (page 91), it says that a level 12 bard have a +12 bonus on the saving throw, and if you took half of his hit points in damage, he'll now receive a +6. The problem is t...

Monster second and last part

So, Seleran respond to me this : Quote: Lamia get 2 claws and 1 dagger attack. The damage for each is in the parenthetical -- 1d4 and 1d4+2 respectively. Kobold gets either a bite (for 1d2 damage) or a weapon (with damage delivered by the weapon type). Basically, if it says "or" it means &...

Thanks again for your help!
