<t>Thanks to everyone who posted, you all make me feel like a valued member. You've all helped my group to grow into a fun and fast paced gaggle of gamers. I was going to keep posting the results of our gaming sessions so that you could all see what it's like for a bunch of gamers to grow from the g...

<t>I like your chess idea CharlieRock. I had thought of doing a chess board puzzle, but instead of the pieces turning to golems when the players step on the "threatened" squares, those squares would be floor illusions that give way to snake or scorpion pits or something like that. And I also liked t...

Quote: I've also been told that my "standard" narration voice (like when I'm doing room descriptions in a dungeon) is like a game show host. Heh, "Behind that door is a 40' by 40' sto-one room with no exit and a big monster. Who's going to roll for initiative first? Will it be the ar...

Riddles In The Dark.

<t>Hey Guys,<br/> <br/> So I'm sure by now I must seem like the most unimaginative person in the world with the way my posts have been, but once again I must ask for creative help. I'm looking to give my players some cool riddles/puzzles to solve, but I can't seem to think up any cool or original ri...

Looking For Campaign Ideas.

<t>Hello Folks,<br/> <br/> I've just finished my second module (Assult on Blacktooth Ridge) and so I picked up the Yggsburgh campaign book. To anyone who has the book and is running a campaign that is leading towards the archmage's tower; any ideas on how to connect the two (Yggsburgh and the castle...

Thanks for the help, I know I haven't posted anything in a while but that's only because things have been going really well. And you were right Dynel, they just needed a session or two to get the hang of it (so did I).

The Results From My First Gameing Session As The Keeper.

<t>For those of you who posted on my previous topic, thank you. Your advice was invaluable. And for anyone curious about how my first attempt at Castle Keeping went, here's a recap:<br/> <br/> Based on what my players had told me throughout the week, I had planned on running a game with the followin...

How do I keep players from hamming it up?

<t>I ran a game last night and it went great, slow, but really fun none the less. It was my first time CKing and it ended up taking me a couple of hours to find a pace that worked. That being said, we had six players and each one had a cool backstory in mind for their character, and each player want...

How does the Half-elf's Empathy work?

How does the Half-elf's empathy ability work? Will it modify the amount of undead a cleric or paladin can turn?

<t>Haha When my local constable sounded like Hulk Hogan and the High Priest of Hrueset sounded like some sort of fortune telling Dom Deluise, our group decided that the different voices were the most fun. And a strange old man had the world's thickest Minnesotan accent, with a "Hey dere, hi dere, ho...

I'm Running My First Gaming Session, A Little Help Please!?!

<t>I'm new to Castles & Crusades and I'm going to be running my first module in just a few days. I've decided to run the only free module I could get my hands on and so I'll be running The Rising Knight. However, after reading through it a couple of times, I'm stuck on how I'm supposed to run co...
