I have 2nd printing, but I do not have the book with me now. I will check later. In any case, if there is a reason for the existence of composite bows, is that they allow the Str bonus to be used. In any case, I would rule so in my campaigns.

I experimented used the BRP method, hit points=CON score, if an hit does more than half-CON then something nasty happens. This is the bare-bones for a gritty C&C Dark Ages game. It worked nastily well

I do not know, considering the films that lately have been granted the prize. Commercial success does not equate art.

Same here, if someone likes the films, it's ok. Actually they would be nice films if they weren't marketed as "lord of the rings".

And Oscars do not tell much about the artistic quality of a film. I would look at some other prizes, like Cannes, Berlin or Venezia.

Trolls and Regeneration

So, Trolls are said to regenerate 3 rounds after they have been wound (like in AD&D), while on p.5 the Regeneration ability is said to start the round after the first wound. Which is correct? It can make a HUGE difference!

The most important thing is that no monsters like 12HD butlers are created, just to give them enough ranks of Profession (butler).

I saw such a monstrosity in a published book, but I will not tell where for the authors' sake.
