Re: Society Adventure Compilation
Try this explanation: With the downturn in the economy, people with jobs are working more hours to keep their jobs - and people without jobs, or underemployed, are looking for jobs. No matter what, you have a lot of people with a lot less free time than they had. Ah well - it's only been within the ...

No joke. it might be the solor flare storms affecting satellites. (I think some internet traffic is thru satellites, right? even "land line" phones use satelilites nowadays) ((or something)) It shows my age, that when I hear about solar flares, I worry about Superman's robots malfunctioni...

Could be that there are a few of us that the site doesn't like. Or maybe when we all get on at once, it gets boggled.

No idea what a tracert is. I'll google it. Meantime, I've used these devices in several other wifi areas, including our daughter's/son-in-law's place, a hospital, and a hotel. Except for the phone, in which case I stick with the 4G connection. And a couple of other people have posted that they get t...

We're alternating between Chrome and Firefox on the laptop; Dolphin, Last Pass, and the generic browser on the Nook Tablet; and Firefox & the generic browser on the Android phone. Same problems with each.

Is TrollLord.com ill?
Has anyone else had problems opening up TrollLord.com, either the main page(s) or the board? For the past few days, I've received a lot of errors saying the site is down, or missing, or taking Too Darned Long for the browser to tolerate, or something similar. Is there something wrong, with which one...

There was once a screen for 5.0 (in a VERY swell 3-ring binder which would fold under itself so it would stand up) but none for 5.5 - unless it came out REALLY recently. And 7.5 definitely doesn't have a screen.
Which means the field is wide open for you to create a screen!

I think the UHF reference is a parody of some cop movie line from back in the day, "Badges? we don't need no stinking badges!" That honey badger video is too funny. The "badges" line is from that great 1948 Bogart movie, the Treasure of the Sierra Madre . That movie is filled wi...

It looks as if releasing a PDF to us is as wise as having a team of blind testers and proofreaders. Give yourselves a pat on the back, everyone who's been catching fixes, especially Peter!

Another hobbit-fan! Good to see you, though there may be as many hobbit wannabees after the next Jackson movie - as there were elf wannabees after the previous Jackson movie(s). And the art - OH, that art! It puts anything "monsterous" that TSR, WotC, and Paizo have used for similar publications. The ONLY advantage the aforementioned Big Guns had/have is color. And y'know what? These CM illos are still more pleasing to the eyes. Of course, now I want a portfolio o...

Whoa!
Haven't enjoyed a "monster" book like this since -- Well, I really liked the original TrollPak from Chaosium. But that was more of a campaign toolbox, and this is - well, this is down-&-dirty get-'er-done MONSTERS.
And, OH, that art!!! How I'm gonna miss it in the Nook version!!

I try to simulate what would happen or exist in real life. And in real life, jogging is its own punishment, I suppose that anyone who jogs would be forced to carry an iPod and wear ear buds.

Weird. I've used Paypal since 2004 for hundreds of purchases (ebay mostly, but many other places as well) and haven't ever had a problem.
