Re: Castle Keepers Guide UPDATE

Ok can someone update me on what exactly is available? I live in Australia so shipping books is sometimes as expensive as the book itself so I would be interested in the digest size I guess. What size exactly is that? Is that what I would be ordering if I ordered now or would I be ordering a hardcov...

Re: Why should I buy a sword, when a war hammer is better?

Obviously the dwarves are onto something. I like the variety of hammers as they are- crowbill, light and warhammer seem right to me. Change warhammer damage and you open a can of worms. If you change warhammer to 1d6 then why should a specially crafted and balanced (often metal), 8lb weapon of war d...

<t>I agree, personally I like C&C because there is no "skill system", just seige checks. But if it were to have one, it seems to go against the grain of the game to add extra rules/mechanics when you have the Seige, already bound into so many other aspects of the game , basically perfect for fle...

I wouldn't allow rogues to cast the spell.

Just knowing what's in it can be a useful clue as to possible dangers ahead or tactics in use by it's previous owner and as others have said, to a rogue its value may be in goods or services bartered for said scroll.

Would there be vaste swathes of crunchy bits I just couldn't use or would find unintelligible or is it mostly background ideas and creative goodness?

What is a wolf spear?

What exactly differentiates a wolf spear and makes it more damaging?

Is it barred like a boar spear? Large or multi-bladed? Barbed?

And my main question, is it a two handed weapon, or closer to a short spear which can be used one or two handed?
