I have to say, I prefer matte over gloss when it comes to covers; it's more elegant and understated imo, and less "throwaway pop culture magazine" in look. So, that change is a good one, as far as I'm personally concerned.

Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Because I have the full version of Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Illustrator, I was able to make the changes I noted myself (along with removing some odd artifacts from the pdf). I've also modified and updated it for my own use, ensuring the Encumbrance section is C&C-specific (and doesn't include Metr...

Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Serious improvement, mate, and hugely appreciated. Thank you. The only real issue is the lack of dedicated space for recording the different Saving Throw types; everything else is extremely minor (namely, "# Known" being in the wrong font, and "(Wisdom Mod)" being mistyped "...

Thanks for the heads-up, Chris. I routinely check your page to see if AD&D3e materia has been produced/updated, so keep up the good work.

Scaling Primes
Hey, It seems that one of the main issues some folks have with Primes is that the 6-point bonus is a hell of a benefit, especially at low levels. So, I was wondering if any of those folks had tried modifying Primes so that the benefit scales according to level? F'rinstance (pulling examples randomly...

Re: C&C Old School Character Sheet
Just did a quick skim, and it's fantastic work. Thank you. Some issues of translation (and minor changes to improve the sheets) are noted here: DD3-1 * What's the "Bonus Roll" column after the Attributes and their Mods? Is this supposed to be for Primes and their TNs? If so, change "(...

Neat solution, Serl. I'll be using that.
Does anyone remember the guidelines for how many suits' worth of hide you get from dragons according to size?

Re: Kobold PC
Colin, I think I like that a lot! Thanks. It was a quick conversion but it was intended to maintain the spirit of the SRD Kobold (while also tying things in to the C&C M&T entry). I went with Rogue and Cleric as the Preferred Classes because the Rogue one obviously fits (sneaky buggers, use...

Re: Kobold PC
Comparing it to the modifiers for the d20 Halfling and C&C Halfling, as well as the abilities of other races in both and the Kobold in M&T, you get: Kobold RACIAL TRAITS AND ABILITIES Darkvision: As Half-Orc. Determine Depth and Direction: As Dwarf. Fanged Maw: A kobold's fanged mouth inflic...

Re: Calling Dr. Bombay, Come right away
Nope, I mean that "half-X" provides an obvious theme for the sorts of spells they develop, so a Tiefling will develop appropriately "infernal" spells, a half-dragon will develop spells that reflect draconic abilities, and so on.

I saw somewhere that Colin Chapman of the Colin Sez pdf posted on here so this is my attempt for an answer to a question about his excellent pdf Colin Sez ( I have several questions, but this one is prodominate- In the pdf the sorcerer pretty much as described could also imply being a race/half rac...

Re: Line of sight...
I love that it can pierce through walls and doors, both as a player and Castle Keeper. It can be used to produce a sense of foreboding, and it does not provide any idea about the distance (except somewhere within the area of effect) which can wreck havoc when they cannot see it, but know something ...

PHB 4th & M&T 3rd in the UK?
SO, looking around, the hardcover printings of the PHB's 4th printing and M&T's 3rd printing don't seem to be available in the UK (out of stock?). Anyone know what's happening on that front? Are they sold out and is there any news on new printings?
cheers!

Great work, Rigon; now I just have to track down a copy of the DS conversion I did with Jackal years ago. The joys of computer death means files disappear. :/
