Ya, I have a bad habit of accumulating PDFs, esp. cheap and free ones, and never really taking the time to read through them. It's amazing what I'll find I already have when I take the time to look.

Quite welcome. That's easily one of my favorite C&C accessories. Reminds me of some of the best bits of the 1st ed. AD&D DMG.

Minotaurs, Warforged, Dragonborn, Tiefling. Those are D&D 4e races, yes? I think that's a great idea - it might help steal D&D players and woo them over to C&C. :) I suspect there are copyright issues, though, so you'd have to come up with versions with the serial numbers filed off ...

It's interesting to hear the opinion that stats don't matter that much. Back in the day, we all obsessed about them, but I think C&C makes them less important, thanks to the prime / secondary distinction. I've occasionally toyed with the idea of getting rid of the numerical stats altogether and ...

I just noticed that the CKG PDF has been updated at drivethrurpg. Anyone have any idea what changes were made?

It's also free via drivethrurpg / rpgnow, which worked better for me for some reason.

Cool. I have the main IZ PDF, read through it pretty extensively, but never played it. It looks great, and as close to a hard(ish) scifi setting as I had found for SW up to that point.
