Not interested in D&D5. C&C fits the in-print gaming very nicely!

Do we have a release date? I talked to Tim a few weeks ago and he said the PDF should be ready sometime around the 5/14 with the book to come shortly after that. Now, how hard those dates are is anyone's guess. But I would think the PDF should drop soon-ish. R- Last word I remember reading, was Wal...

I missed out on Snoring Rock's C&C game. I only got about 4 out of 10 or so events that I registered for. Unfortunately, C&C was not one of them. ~O So what are you playing? I'm in RuneQuest 6, Tunnels & Trolls, HarnMaster, Ars Magica, and DCC. I'll also be running a private AD&D &q...

The event sold out before I could snag tickets. Dammit. Ditto. On the one hand, good to hear there's demand for C&C. On the other hand, not getting tickets to the one event (on two occasions) does smart a little. Me and four friends were coordinating efforts on tickets. Luckily, one of us manag...

The games list was released today. Of all the thousands of games being run, mine are the only two games for C&C. Yet again, I stand alone. I know there are others, off the grid that maybe could, might happen at 7 or 8 on Friday, or Saturday, or whenever... :( This year's GC will only be my thir...

Re: Gen Con Event Registration
Event Registration is May18th They should post the schedule sometime this week if they do what they normally do. I know there are folks who haunt these forums who do not play or run games on the grid. I like both. I like knowing when I have a game and being able to count on that at a certain time. ...

Re: Defense Score from CKG
Thank you, Fizz!
Do you think the DR numbers as listed in the CKG are too high?
BTW - I like your 'limited hit points' idea to make for a grittier game. I have some other tweaks of my own in mind but for now they are on the drawing board have not been playtested.

Thanks, Arduin. I've used hit location and damage reduction when playing WFRP2e and it worked well. I'm toying around with using the CKG variant rule (w/o including hit location) to help increase how dangerous combat really is without the really high armor class results making it nearly impossible f...

Has anyone here substituted the Defense Score for Armor Class with armor used as damage reduction as per the CKG p. 258?

Thanks!
