Customer Service...
This is a very restrained rant. I've attempted to contact TLG and get a hold of Steve a few times now with no success. The first attempt was on October 4th regarding a problem I was having regarding the link the the revised Amazing Adventures PDF. This was sent to 'amazingadventures@trolllord.com'. ...

Re: Domesday VI Discussion
Pretty nice, maybe I'll add something for the next one. (Seeing as how The Crusader is in a holding pattern.) I know you can't think of everything to offer as inspiration, but Sin City (Both comic and movie) would've been a good example of high level pulp characters. Marv is a beast. Good call for ...

Thanks for the kind words... Sometime in a couple weeks (likely after your American Thanksgiving), I'll start up a thread for issue 7. I certainly would love for Domesday to grow a bit more.

Maybe Disney will restore the Greedo / Han scene in a subsequent release!Relaxo wrote:I was surpirzed he let go his baby, but he said his goal is to pass the torch during his lifetime so it goes smoothly. makes a little sense, I suppose.
(greedo shooting first still sucks!)

Re: The Crusader in Limbo?
Well, as a subscriber, I'm curious as well for obvious reasons but as a consumer of TLG products, this sort of loyalty only goes so far. I have no idea who grabbed a copy of issue 5 of Domesday that came out this summer but right now, issue 6 is in layout and due to release in the next week or so (j...

It took a while but it finally shipped and I just got my slice of Pi in the post today. I haven't fully tested it, since I currently didn't have a spare USB keyboard and mouse. However, I did make sure it booted ok and it looks good on my 40" LCD! :) Tomorrow I should have all I need to play wi...

Re: Swords and Wizardry
As I ponder this Swords & Wizardry Tome of Horrors Complete, again it seems fairly simply and the more I read the more I'm thinking it will be very, very easy to run this Rappan Athuk straight up C&C. I'll be likely using C&C to run my Rappan Athuk campaign (using the S&W RA materia...

Re: Swords and Wizardry
Sword & Wizardry is good for one thing (as a clone) ... it provides a decent baseline / source game system. Is it what I run and prefer? No. However, given it's basic nature and structure, material for it is instantly usable and functional. The core rules is freely available and OGL compliant an...

I completely understand man... it was a tough call for me too. I'm still wondering if I should quit while I'm ahead or, now that they allow for multiple pledge levels, modify my existing pledge accordingly.

The Devil made me do it... I ended up backing the Center Stage KS as well. I mean, who doesn't need a host of demons and devils and various lords and princes for some downright fantastic (and evil) gaming goodness! :) In for not quite as much as the Kickstarter but it was hard to pass up not getting...

I did something similar -- 2x the vampire level and 1x of each the extras/options that was a miniature. I also traded in the two Sophies for credit towards the 'orcpocalypse' set (a set of 20 orcs) and a case which will only hold a fraction of all the minis I am getting. Over 500 minis...

If you want, you could theoretically grab the Arduin conversion stuff... I dunno if you want it. It *is* pretty awesome material... Did you want to write a small intro for any of the stuff? I'll happily use it though and I could probably spread out the material in more than one newsletter as well. M

You don't need a credit card *but* you need to be subscribed to the said services to use them. In other words, if you want to watch something like Netflix, you need to have an account setup already or will have to set one up on the computer. Sooner or later, a credit card would be required though. T...

Re: A Curious Volume of Forgotten Lore
While I am not interested in another retro-style 1E clone (Adventures Dark & Deep), the 'what if' intrigued me enough to back the project when it was first launched on Kickstarter. I reviewed the product here on my blog: http://arcanacreations.blogspot.ca/2012/07/review-curious-volume-of-forgott...

I guess I'm the outsider here as I enjoyed having the 2e splats and similar books. In fact, I still use them in my C&C game. Well, back when 2nd Edition was the 'current edition', I had started buying the supplements (brown, blue, and green) but I got the majority of them in the secondhand mark...

Thanks guys! I've started receiving a couple of submissions and your contributions are all welcome. Bill's right -- it doesn't have to be perfect. That said, Lurker -- I just took a quick glance at the material you've sent me and you are far too modest and perhaps a bit too critical of your efforts....

Re: C&C World/Setting Confusion
Ok, so I've mostly completed my C&C adventure module collection and I'm trying to organize them, in part, by what setting they take place in. For example, the A series all seem to take place in the core Airhde setting (as presented in the After Winters Dark folio). The DB series seem to take pl...

Re: “Classical” literary characters
As a big fan of the Illiad and the Odyssey, I would actually lean towards the Fighter as opposed to the Knight for Odysseus. The Bard as a secondary class is certainly an interesting idea though, truth to tell, I may go so far as consider a Rogue instead -- he was a warrior but he was a cunning one ...

A Note to Jason Vey...
I was tickled pink when I first came across 'Spellcraft & Swordplay' and I am the proud owner of that collector's boxset you put together a couple of years back. When I heard about Amazing Adventures, I was cautiously optimistic and did the pre-order when it became available. Steve and company k...

Regarding deadlines, I have every intention in releasing the next issue for Halloween.
Deadlines for submissions is midnight (EST), September 30th.
Remember, the submission needn't be epic... it could be as simple as an item, a critter, or even a few of both!

Re: C&C Players Handbook, 5th Printing (Preorder)
According to a posted reply on Facebook, TLG received the shipment of PHB's fairly last minute before heading to the Con. I can accept that given that a chunk of the Kickstarter books need to get signed before heading to the backers. I don't know if this is the same with the Amazing Adventures as I ...
