<t>What I have found in play is that any monster that requires a save will likely be more lethal in C&C then its counterpart in D20.<br/> <br/> Otherwise, I find C&C monsters to be less lethal then their D20 counterparts in most cases. For example, I use ogres quite a bit in my campaign. If ...

Quote: However, "adventure path" campaigns designed for 3E use a completely different set of assumptions for the pace of advancement. To me, it's a lot easier to just accept the break with assumptions/feel, rather than spend a lot of time and effort trying to mimic that advancement with t...

Paizo is putting out some top-notch goods. The new issue of Pathfinder is indeed yummy.

I like their new modules as well. I thought their W1 module was fantastic, it has a nice sandbox approach with a timeline of events that keeps things moving along.

<t>In our current game where everyone is 5th level at the moment, I would definitely *not* say the fighters are weak. <r>My Shackled City game has been going dandy. The biggest problem I have to workaround is that the level of the characters doesnt "keep up" with the level the APs suggest or were designed for. I just deal with that a few ways; by extending the timeline of the AP and introducing other avenues of adv...

Shackled City hardcover

DCC 26: The Scaly God

A Dungeon adventure (name escapes me, was written for 3.5, involves lizard men in a swamp, for 3rd or 4th level characters, might have the word Morach Tor in the title).

<t>I dont find BattleLore to be very complex, in the sense that the rules are very simple and easy to pick up on. The game does a great job of introducing the rules, by having the scenario book that comes with the basic game start out with scenarios that only use the basic rules, then each additiona...

Having a set of C&C libraries would be neat too, not sure if I would use them a lot, but the option would be neat. Its a steal for 10 bucks.

<t>Two weapon fighting works great if you have a high dex and low str. In my current game, the thief uses an off-hand weapon when in combat. His dex bonus is +3 and his str bonus is +0. So he basically gets a second attack at a penalty, but it doesnt affect his main attack at all due to his dex. <br...
