The one with the (looks like) hobbit fem trying to fast talk three trolls? What I really want to do is print an 11" * 34" (4 page wid...

Not true. Drizzt cast a Wi...

Just do one page. It only takes 10 minutes to do a page. Would you like pg. 98? No one's taken it.

<t>I like Metathiex's system. It is similar to Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved, which is one of my favorite magic systems. I use pretty much that exact system for Clerics and Druids.<br/> <br/> I have taken another route for Wizards, however, as a pet project. My system can be summarized as follows:<br/...

<t>I really like conditional magic, as naturaltwenty describes. I will probably adopt it. <br/> <br/> As for customizing the class in a more rulesy / crunchy way, I would leave the spell list alone and swap out Turn Undead. <t>To beat the dead horse a little (I just thought of this after posting the last), using the "Does not stack" rule actual discourages racial archetypes. I mean, why would you bother taking the hit of losing a Prime as an elven ranger, when half your racial abilities just don't matter by 2nd level? ...

d20 + Dex mod + Level, once at the beginning of combat. Baddies have a fixed initiative of 12+HD

Yeah, higher level characters (and monsters) have more highly trained reflexes.
