Re: Gen Con 2012

Steve, I am going to see about making GenCon to be available to run games. Troll Con is a no go because of timing, but there is a chance to swing GenCon again. I'll give you a shout sometime soon.

Re: Home form GaryConIV!

Hey Hoyt - thx for playing - yeah, 12 was a bit much, first time I've tried that (and just so you know, when Steve is at the con and runs he runs 20 or so people!) - always before I've done 6-8 max and will probably set that as limit, I just wasn't sure how many C&C games were going to happen an...

Looks like Ben Gifford ran another one on Sunday too, bringing the total to 18 C&C events for the 4-day con :)

Back from GaryConIV

Posted this in the con forum but wanted to repeat it here: Will post more later as I've just driven home and am ready for sleep before re-entering the real world tomorrow, but just a few tidbits - There were 17 C&C events that I know of that ran over the 4 days this year!! - I ran 2 official gam...

Spending the morning running pre-gens for my Fri. & Sat. C&C games - though if anyone at my tables is a veteran of C&C, knows what they are doing and wants to roll up their own character they may do so as long they can do so quickly. Fri's Unending Darkness game will have all characters...

Re: GaryCon IV

Have games been pre-reg'd for online already? My group isn't arriving until Friday. My duties as booth babe will keep me from signing up(circus maximus, met alpha, and a few others were tempting)but the others will have some time. The "announced" C&C games are mostly filled - I have o...

Re: GaryCon IV

By my count we're looking at the following from here being there - myself, Piper, Tylermo, Sir Osis, Morty, Mabon, GoOgleplex, studio3six, CKDad, Bloodymage - missing anyone? I scheduled my two C&C events early on Fri. and Sat. and they're full, I'm in bloodymage's game Sunday but my wife will h...

Re: Domesday: Resurrection

Hi all, I'm not around as often as I'd like to be - but then that was the issue that limited my ability in the first place. I do want to clear one thing up - the reason the Domesday book didn't continue past #4 was simple - those of us doing it couldn't keep doing it as it was. In my own case, I am ...

Re: WOTC announcement today?

Hmmmm.... Two things just caught my eye.... On Facebook Monte Cook posted that they're having a lot of fun playtesting the new D&D with Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth... so whatever they are working on is obviously something that you can pick up a 1e mod and run with... 2nd - Mike Mearls issued somet...

Maybe just move it up more prominently on the TLG front page and take out the "members area" mention so that new people might not see it and not click?

Also a quick note - the email database I have been collecting over the last two years at my societysquire account is now showing about a dozen or "non-deliverable" email addresses - most likely from folks who have changed accounts, moved, etc. If this is you (i.e. you're on the Rolls but n...

Hi everyone, I've successfully imported the Squire's Book (The Rolls of the Society) over to the new site Eric has set up at http://castlesandcrusades.ning.com and sent out mass emails and horn blasts on the site... We were chatting the other night when Todd suggested this and I think it is an excellent idea, but I will be out of pocket at my brother's wedding that weekend so I'm hoping we can find additional times to keep this idea going :)
