I have considered that. The other member that has run games in the past had a Ranger that would pop up from time to time whenever the play group was out 1 or 2 members. Definitely comes in handy-especially if members start dropping unconscious.

The notecard idea is a good one and I might ask that the pc's provide some rudimentary details at the beginning of the next session so that I can mold the session into something that is less rigid and more likely to run closer to their own interests in the gam...

Mage Wars - Awesome and somewhat similar to Magic: The Gathering or Summoner Wars. I think it beats M:TG (haven't played Summoner Wars) hands down.
