Page Count of adventure module A1 to A4

Looking through RPGgeek I am seeing a significant page count difference between some of the 1st writings and 2nd printings. (I understand A1 has A1.1 and A1.2 incorporated into it and that why it has a large page increase, nearly double) I realize that a 2 to 4 page increase is expected from Softcov...

Hel Rising....New cover? Same as Odin's Fury now except for

Just noticed on the store front... Seem Hel Rising cover has changed to be the same as Odin's fury. Now listed as part of the Nine Worlds Saga. Wondering if just a "store front" thing or if the cover is actually different now. If so despite me getting a copy of the old cover last week I'd grab up an...

Troll Lords Littlerock bank & Credit statements !?!?!

Sooooo My wife was doing some contracting work in Littleneck, AR and she would see this everyone awhile. While doing paperwork to get reimbursed for expenses she at first thought it was a store or something at the airport. (I know they don't aways show up as the actual store you were at but a larger...

Re: How do you sell C&C?

Hey guys, I'm planning on running some C&C at my flgs, how do I interest and sell people on C&C? Why play C&C rather than Pathfinder or 5E? Say, "Okay guys we're going to play the game that G. Gygax felt was a better 3rd edition D&D than what WotC produced as a 3rd Edition." Now that is a STRONG se...

Re: What printing......?

Except there is a copy that just has 8017 on the spine, with the old style logo on the cover, and a print date of 2009. (The main reason for my confusion.) Softcover. Hardcover wasn't available until sometime in 2010 Yea looking off pictures for its first printing so didn't really notice not HC. :O)

Re: What printing......?

I took a closer look at all the books I have.... For my 2nd edition Players Handbook that was part of the slip cover sleeve with Castle Zayag Yaggsburgh does have the 80102 but nothing on title page. Then looked at my 5th edition and 6th edition and it does mention on the tile page what edition it i...

Re: What printing......?

Interesting.... The book I have has the new Castle and Crusades logo (orangeish), and i have seen some of the older version logo on eBay. So unless they just switched the logo in the middle of the print run it wouldn't be a first printing. Not that big of a deal though. Just trying to figure it out....

Re: What printing......?

For the PHB at least, the last digit of the product number on the spine indicates the printing. Oh thats a good point! I recognized that but then.... So...the first printing has 4 digits....but then what does it mean when has the four digits and then a 1 behind them? Its not really the 1st edition....

What printing......?

All, How do you tell what printing you have? Or is it tracked? Know with Pazio books they had it listed on the first page. I was just curious...as got a Gods and Monster today (Yes it was a total box of awesomeness that I snuck in during that sale!) and know some have the different Castle and Crusad...

I have a some of these cards if someone wants some of them. I'd be cheaper than Noble Knight. :D

Although they do have some nice deals.

Also just figured out they are in Janestown, WI so will be making a trip to check their store out during Garycon.

Yea the accents are a bit much.... Me I had to reduce my pledge. I want to be able to take full advantage of the Aihride Kickstarter thats coming. Hate to do it because I am sure that book will be awesome. Might be able to get back in at the level I want if things work out though. Just have pushed m...

Re: Adventurer's Packs

The Adventurers Backpack booklet from the C&C 10th anniversary boxed set would be helpful to you. Mind you, that book features a bit of what you're looking forward, some new spells, classes, etc. However, the book will eventually be released with more material as a normal-sized book. Just not sure ...

Another kickstarter....... Well hopefully a leather version will be offered. :O) Plus who doesn't like maps! A slip sleeve would be kind of cool to combine the two separate books. Oh and a leather version. Is the Players Guide to Aihrde going to be in this Kickstarter as well? Oh and a leather versi...

I found one of those "Tower of Adventure" in shrink. One corner has a 1/8 inch spot where it's scraped to the white card board but beyond that it's in pristine shape.

$30. Anyone interested? I haven't picked it up yet. Am sad I paid $40 for my copy....

The Heart of Glass

I have noticed a copy of "The Heart of Glass" with the image of the guy headed in the other direction from all the pictures I see of it.

Was there an alternate cover of it for something special?

Re: Looks like I will not be getting a C&C Players Guide...

;-)

I have done it for board games myself. Never for a book.

What I'd like to see is 11" x 17" peel and stick labels, which they might have but haven't looked because I don't have a printer that can handle it.

Have game boxes I want to cover which usually the 11" 8.5" size doesn't work 100%.

A more simple way maybe would to print off a full size shipping label with the cover you want. Peel and then stick.

Re: I'm the proud owner o' many things I didn't know I had.

Just above the "Versions" on the page of the product; usually just below the description, it say "add new version" or something along those lines. Then you enter the information for said version. Then it has to be approved. Its not to time consuming when actually start doing it, I also try to get a ...

Re: I'm the proud owner o' many things I didn't know I had.

It takes time, kind of, but thats what I use Board Game Geek for to keep track of my collection. It helps. Although I just started putting the info of my RPG collection into BGG's other side RPGgeek. I don't have a ton of video games but they have that as one of the three different tabs on the top o...

Re: No PDF version of D&D 5th PHB?

This might be a strange analogy.... My dad was a cop and he always said a "locked door keeps an honest person honest." Having a PDF done by a publisher available, it keeps the honest people honest. They'd rather just buy the official PDF which is good quality and no risk of it having a bug or other ...
