<t>MRQ isn't broken, it works. It even has some very good material, such as the very best chargen I have seen in a BRP game, derivative or not. The mechanics have some bumps, nothing that can't be fixed. Mongoose is even taking care of my biggest gripe, by combining the three core books into one, wh...

<t>Actually, Rowling has dropped a lot of 'future history' of the characters in various interviews during the last week. I am too lazy to go hunting up where they are, but a few bits: Harry becomes head of the Aurors, and cleans up the Ministry of Magic; Hermione becomes an outspoken friend of the d...

Amazingly, at my age, I can now say I can add some more life affecting books to my list, after having given the last one a look...the Harry Potter books. I am very impressed with what at first seemed to me a flash in the pan children's book. They very, very much deserve to be on my list, IMO.

Thanks for the offer, but I have decided to exchange a bunch of stuff for credit at NKG, get all the books I want for my game in one fell swoop (with a mixture of credit and cash). Also, I want the NM items, even though they are more expensive. I do appreciate your offer.

Usually I really don't like to be 'spoiled' on a new book, but for some reason I am very ambivalent about this one. I just want to KNOW. But don't worry, I'm not out to spoil anyone elses fun. Not another peep.

I was saying...C&C hits the spot for me too.

And I would like to see some more stuff like weapon descriptions as well, and material like the appendices in the 1st AD&D DMG. Surely no problem with the C&C rules, but some of that sort of material really comes in handy...
