The fronts can't be distributed due to copyright stuff but they were easy to make. Here's one in pseudo-action (taken this morning about 5:00 a.m.) What I really like about these screens is that they are lower so you don't miss as much of the action and it doesn't seem like too much of a barrier. I ...

Ahh yes the ease of starting websites (it's the content part that's hard:) ). - Fudge Forum was created because somebody asked me to do it. It's moderated by Capybara and I come in if there are problems. Fudge to me was neat but too much work. Personal tastes not withstanding but I can't find a darn...

C&C is now a success in my group

<r>Well,<br/> <br/> The group has made it to it's third gaming session. If anyone knows of me on these boards I have a great affinity for starting games and petering out early. It's not that I don't like to game it's just like most 36 year old IT professionals those damn projects get in the way:). W...

<r>From Dragon Magazine there used to be a "cloistered cleric". He didn't put on any armor, had d4 for hp, limited weapon use, but all spell casting and turning undead. I'll search and post when I get home.<br/> <br/> Later<br/> _________________<br/> Greg Volz<br/> <URL url="http://www.naturaltwent...

<r>The map is small in encounter size. It's really only 4 rooms. I think my design philosophy is somewhat limited because I've been doing online gaming (virtual tabletop) for the last few years. Sprawling dungeon-crawls, when transferred to the virtual-tabletop, are harder to display and manage for ...

I cheated. Once upon a time there was a program (and no this isn't a fairy tale) called Gridsmith. It predated Dundjinni but was somewhat more limited in it's functionality. Although it was a little more kludgy some of the art tiles were fantastic. Sadly the program is no longer sold but there is st...

I'll be doing landscaped versions for the Savage Worlds screen. I've taken artwork for the fronts from Goodman Games (Erol Otus and Willingham being my fave) because I'm doing an old school type feel.

As soon as I get them done I'll post away.

Make sure to play up the moathouse villain. I had that guy as a recurring villain for years (all the way through the Giant series).

Note - I could not use it "out of the box". Since I just started my campaign and the first wizard player has not joined in yet (scheduling seems to be the hardest part of this campaign ) the exact spells in the paths have not been determined. For example I'm only going to allow a specific ...

What I really like about conditional magic is that it puts the cleric in the thought mode of "am I casting this spell for the right reasons?" As an example last evening during play a new member joined the group, a 1/2 orc monk. The dwarven cleric had a real hard time justifying casting hea...

For clerics I use conditional magic from the Spells & Magic 2nd ed book along with spheres.

It adds little to no complexity.
