City / Town Adventure

My players are just about to finish Slave Pits of the Undercity. I'd like them to spend some time in Highport before moving on to the Stockade. Any suggestions on a pre made town or city that would fit? Looking for something gritty that I can either use right away or spend a little time converting. ...

Re: still have typos in 7th printing

I thought if I did the dollar backer thing and grabbed a PDF of 7th printing as an add-on, I'd get the alternate cover. This does not seem to be the case. I backed it, but thought I was getting the alternate as a hard cover too. I guess not...just received an email with a link to drivethrurpg. edit...

Like making Thor a woman, its just more politically correct bs. If they want a heroine, they should create one, not replace an icon.

Re: Advice and encouragement needed in picking up the ole du

That's great Les! When my son and I started playing about 4 years ago, making him 10 at the time, I was away on a long term project. I'd call on Sunday afternoon and we'd play over the phone for a few hours. When I happened to be home for a weekend we'd play, sometimes with my daughter and wife join...

Well, we know it can't be me, with my high Fame and Rep. R- So are you guys going to keep these events "quiet"? To keep your fame and rep from changing even more? Your Rep is actually going to drop, a lot, from this, due to the dirty cheating and cowardly tactics you used, but your Fame w...

Re: (Aces and Eights RPG) The Montana Campaign.

A very abreviated summary of our sessions... ... Then, once the dirt and smoke cleared enough for them to see again, the Gatling Gun opened up! Between the dynamite and the Gatlin gun, along with additonal rifle fire from the remaining PC's, it only took less than 2 seconds to have all but 8 of the...

Re: (Aces and Eights RPG) The Montana Campaign.

I'll probably be late again; my son has basketball playoffs tonight. I hope his team wins! See you when you sign on. Unfortunately they lost by 4 late in the game. Their best player fouled out with a minute left. The refs screwed up with the foul count, but wouldn't reverse it. The other team had a...

Re: (Aces and Eights RPG) The Montana Campaign.

Enapay has good scores in both Deception and Intimidation. Not sure if those will come in handy when haggling prices. He is still concerned about being found by his former "associates", so drawing attention to himself may not be the best course. I'm good with a fair price for everything, n...

I like Goblins & Hobgoblins, Balors and Pit Fiends, and Giants. Dopplegangers are fun too. I've had a blast with a few of those recently, much to my son's frustration.
