Re: The 6th/4th printing flip book is AWEsome.
Just got my "scratch and dent" flip book. Aside from the cover on the M&T side being ~1/16" too short, there is nothing wrong with the book. No damage at all.

Re: Great TLG "scratch and dent" sale...
I have an online game on Tuesday nights (8-11pm US/Central) that needs a player or two. Wow; you guys are awesome. Thank you! :) However, for the time being I'm going to hold out to see if I can find something in person. I'm hoping that living in a huge metro area means that's a real possibility.

But thanks for asking; it would have been awesome if we could have worked something out!

Re: My players Monk "One Punched" a Troll...
The scenario was a fight ring that is ran by a scummy guy and his organization in Bards Gate. They have a Troll (the 9 HD variety) that they have muzzled so it can't bite, and bind its hands so it cannot claw, but it can still do the bear hug if it hits with both "hands". Anyways, the par...

I'm pretty hard on books, so I didn't mind ordering a damaged one. And the price was amazing.
Looking forward to receiving it.

Re: Combat Initiative and order..
Do most of you require someone to declare spell-casting prior to rolling initiative? The rules seem to leave that bit a little vague -- possibly by design -- so I'd like to hear people's experiences.

Re: Years of CK or DM/GM experience
I started DMing in earnest in '90, though I dabbled before. I picked 20-25 years to err on the conservative side.

Re: C&C and pathfinder adventure paths
Keep an eye out on Paizo.com; they put the older (3.5E, rather than Pathfinder) modules on sale for like $5 a pop once a year or so...gabriellyon wrote:Thanks all. I think I will take the advice given and skip the Adventure paths then. Guess I will just have to increase my collection of modules.

Re: Falling is fatal...
I played in a 1E game that used the C&C falling damage rules (which we found in Dragon, I think), so C&C as written seems about right to me.

Re: Great TLG "scratch and dent" sale...
I picked up (the last?) scratch-and-dent flipbook. Though I've yet to actually try C&C (though I've owned the PHB and M&T in PDF for awhile), the $10 price tag to get both in print was simply too tempting to pass up.
